Naruto to Boruto Discussion Thread

You know it's kind of strange how Asuma's supposed to be almost as strong as Kakashi overall, but Kakashi lowkey outperformed Asuma in his strong suit, cqc, against Hidan (while fatigued mind you). Maybe that just means P2 Kakashi is that much stronger than CE Kakashi.
 
Is it true that in the novels it was stated that it was Obito who killed all the noncombatant Uchiha during the massacre?

CE Kakashi was still pretty rusty, only had roughly a week training, P2 had 2.5 years

Tbh, after giving it some thought… a Sand Arc Mission would be somewhat “pointless” until we find out what Matsuri was doing there in the first place.
  1. Gaara is injured but alive.
  2. The Sand Village may be somewhat damaged but operable.
  3. Konoha only knows one way to reverse the Tree Shindig, and not even in full detail (What happens “after” getting a TSB).
Unless it’s a “Shinju Pursuit” mission, going after Ryu & Co, it doesn’t make sense to send a squad unless its like Sakura or someone to heal Gaara.

I hope it is a Pursuit Mission though. 🤷‍♂️

They have to stop the ghost of Deidara from kidnapping Gaara with his freaky little hands while he recovers.
 
I have a feeling they are about to make Shikamaru do something stupid. If they are gonna send a Squad to the Sand, realistically speaking, you can’t send Sarada or Kawaki.
  1. Sarada is the Last Uchiha and is being targeted by the enemy, whom you know is seeking “information” from their victims and gaining their abilities. Ntm, she is a wild card considering her support of Boruto and her father whom are viewed as traitors. The Elders would want her treated as basically a Jin. Ntm you have the Eida Mission, which having ONLY Sumire is a issue.
  2. Kawaki is your Nuke, alongside Delta. Sending him away leaves your village more vulnerable, ESPECIALLY considering what “just” happened with Jura/Hidari.
Unless Eida decides to go on the mission (Which allows you to send Sarada and Sumire), the only people Shikamaru (If he was smart) could send would be to add Mitsuki to Team 10 and Send: Shikadai, Mitsuki, Chocho & Konohamaru. While leaving Hima in the village.

I know they’re not gonna do it, but this is also the perfect time to introduce a New Character, as well as, flesh out the rest of Shinki’s team PTS.

Wait. There's a reason someone would go to the Sand. Think about it. Without Shinki there, if Gaara's injured, who is the interrim Kazekage? It could be Kankuro, yeah, but remember, who's the oldest member of the family?

At least from how it’s translated an “offensive capacity” doesn’t necessarily imply power.

All that really says is that his ability to attack is tripled.

Which kinda goes hand in hand with the added bonuses this form has over the original mentioned in the previous sentence.

An Additional Head for greater Field of View + more range via longer claws and Fangs would give someone a substantially better offense.

The first statement is straightforwardly referring to AP tho
 
I mean… isn’t it irrelevant tbf? Kiba doesn’t scale anywhere. Even if we take it at face value:
  • 3 Head Dog (2-3x) > 2 Head Dog >= Sakon/Ukon > Jirobo
Even high balling it makes Kiba sub-Jonin Level still, no? 🤔

Not quite. The 3 Headed Wolf destroyed some of the Juubi spawns, which were able to tank a punch from Pre-100H Sakura.
