Imbalanced World RP: Thread 2

I look around, trying to figure out what the sound is. I talk to the woman while I do so.

"So, now that it's over, what are the two of you going to be doing now?"
 
Those who looked up through the hole would see a skyship, powered by mana, relatively small, it would stop and hover near the hole before a door opened. They saw a man in exquisite clothing and wearing a crown looking down at them.

"I understand you are the ones who solved this disaster?" The man would say, looking at the group.
 
SKS: So fancy

Fancy = A lot of Money, so big reward ahead.

SKS: Noice


"Yes, now give reward."

Responds Jack, who's standing on the edge of the hole.
 
"Yep." Harinder replied, trying to shout. Having gotten a good enough look in the hole. He shakily stands up. He just spent a lot of energy doing everything he did alright?
 
"All will come in due time. You will certainly be rewarded for your efforts. What of the source?"

The man says to the group.
 
"Sir is it wise for you yourself to come here, even if the source has been dealt with it still could be unsafe, but to answer your question its over their."

Alexander points to the kid while trying to be as polite as possible.
 
"You managed to eliminate the anomaly without killing it? Even our mages calculations considered this an impossibility, how was this done?"

The man says before he and three armed troops jump out of the skyship and land near the group.
 
"Ah, my apologies, I have not introduced myself yet. I am Emperor Rudolf Magestrius the Second. The fact that you managed to quell the source without killing it amazes me."

Now that the group has a closer look at the Emperor, they can see that he is rather muscular, they would also notice a large sword sheathed on his back.

The woman seems to be looking at the Emperor with disgust.

"Well. Regardless of how you did it, it is done. Ask any request of me and I shall do what I can to fulfill it, it is the least I can do for the saviors of my city."
 
SKS: Ask for the sword !

"I suppose that sword of yours isn't included in the "anything", right ?"

Jack asks
 
"I want all facilities like this one shut down with mandates to prevent it ever happening again, with their experiments set free and given a safe haven. I'm sorry, but knowing what these people have gone Through. I'd ask to be an Overseer of the Safe Haven. With the requisite perks that come with it, so that they can maintain a life of luxury For the hardships they've endured. Any other Overseer can be overturned by the community itself, and of course special precautions must be made in the Construction of the Safe Haven to help deal with powers and abilities going wrong while Inside The Safe haven." Harinder replied.
 
It's a good thing that guy thought about the facility and protecting people from stuff like this. I might come by from time to time and make sure everything's alright myself.

"Do you have any strong magical spears or lances?"
 
"Can I have access of the greatest libary of the empire sir, their are some things I'd like to research."
 
Dies shrugs. "Infinite gloom?" She tilts her head. "Vel da mihi de sortibus ad stab, anima mea, cultellus est questus terebravisse~." She chuckles.
 
Hearing everyone else talking, Jirah attempted to make his own response. The demon's attempt at communicating was with great difficulty, his physiology not quite adept with speaking. Jirah's voice was more of a rumble than anything else, like a blend between a tiger's growl and an alligator's bellow. He could only utter one word in his attempt to talk: "Power..."
 
"My sword? I'm afraid not, no. I wouldn't be standing here were it not for that blade, I can, however, provide you with a weapon from my personal armory." The Emperor says in response to Jack's request.

"Ah, this, well, this is a request I can indeed fulfill. After this event I had already been planning to shut down this initiative. I will shut down this facility, as well as the 2 others of its kind. I truly do apologize for what they have went through, it was one of our few options to combat the demons properly. You will be granted land, an abandoned estate some distance away from the capitol should do just fine, I will send workers and mages to renovate it to your specifications and send troops to free and transport the people held captive in the facilities. You will be granted ownership of the estate and all its assets, which are rather significant. Would this be satisfactory?" The Emperor asks Harinder.

"My armory does indeed contain such weapons, I can take you as well as the other man to it and offer one to you." He responds to Silas.

"Ah, the mage's tower, very well, I will grant you access to it at your leisure. It is located in the capitol, where I will be returning soon." He then says to Alexander.

"My apologies, but I do not understand what this means. Gloom? What do you mean by this? This seems like a thing I, nor anyone for that matter, would be capable of providing. I would recommend you ask for something else." He says to Dies.

"Power? Well, you do not seem to be capable of wielding conventional weaponry, what an unusual being you are. Perhaps I shall ask for the mages to construct a suit of armor for you?" He said to Jirah.

"What about you, young lady?" He then asked as he looked at Neitha.

"I don't want anything from you, as long as I and the kid get our freedom. Actually, I want you to eliminate all those restraining and detecting devices the empire uses." She responded.

"Could I get some food?" The little kid asked

"Very well, I will eliminate the devices. Now, you all must be exhausted and hungry, come with me and I shall take you to the capitol for a feast as well as to discuss your rewards further."

The Emperor gestured to the one piloting the ship, they would fly off and in a moment a larger ship would arrive, a partially transparent beam of light would shine down from it.

"Come, this will take you to the ship." The Emperor gestured to the group as his bodyguards entered it and were teleported onto the ship.
 
"Yes..." Jirah rumbled in response to the Emperor's offer, before the demon followed him alongside everyone else.

Eh

I step back a bit, then sprint foward, leaping from the hole's edge and cannonballing in to the beam of light
 
Neitha and the child also enter the beam of light, as does the Emperor.

The group would find themselves in a lounge room of sorts, there would be couches, tables and the like, as well as windows showing the outside.

"It should take roughly 15 minutes to arrive sir." One of the soldiers says to the Emperor.

"Very well, feel free to look around in the meanwhile." The Emperor says as he and his soldiers head up some stairs.
 
"Okay then"

Jack jumps on a counch and instantly falls asleep.

Susano-o in the meanwhile, starts thinking about new tactics and attacks.
 
The group would discover that the ship is divided in 3 different layers, the middle layer, where you are currently in, the engine and weapons area, which is the bottom layer and the command area, which is the top layer.

The middle layer has many windows through which the group can see the city and land passing by as the ship moves, there are some other rooms in the middle layer that seem to be bedrooms.

The engine area would have people working, a massive mana core could be seen at the center, there are side rooms around the engine area that contain outwards facing turrets.

The command area would have the Emperor sitting in a large chair overlooking it, a large window in it would show the area outside, people could be seen observing various machinery and a man at the front of the room was piloting the ship.
 
Harinder decides not to stay in the bottom layer for long, knowing full well what would happen if he did, and decides to head to the point furthest away from any important manatech to operate the ship, and rest there.

Aside from the stationary turrets, Silas finds a few rifles and blades, all manatech, they seem standard.

@Totadile

Harinder would find a spot and be sitting in a corner near a window on the middle layer of the ship.

@Everything

Alexander sees houses passing by, in the distance the capitol could be seen. Alexander notices a fairly large shadow being cast above the ship.

@Everyone

The ship rumbles a bit and a loud sound can be heard from the lower level. Alarms begin blaring and soldiers begin mobilizing, the sound wakes anyone who had been asleep and an announcement comes on the intercom.

"We are under attack by a large demonic fortress type creature, anyone who can fight, mobilize immediately!" The voice says.

Turret fire can be heard and a large shadow can be seen through the middle layer windows, but it can't be discerned yet what this shadow is.

The Emperor runs down the stairs and quickly speaks up. "I am sorry to ask you this after everything you've gone through here, but we need your aid, follow me up to the roof." he says while opening a door near the stairs that seems to lead to a path up to the roof.

The Anomaly Child seems a bit concerned, Neitha is guarding him.
 
Harinder heads out as fast as he can, he has a plan a crazy one but a plan nonetheless he needed to leave the vicinity of the ship so that everyone else was safe from him, and they could use their abilities to their fullest extent. but right now he needed to get off this ship without damaging it, and that meant climbing upwards.
