Fire Force to Soul Eater - Death and Asura

If being a "god" within Fire Force/Soul Eater implies a range of power, with it being consistently stated/implied that "gods" are above the collective unconscious. Then Death, who stated multiple times to be a "god" and is perceived as powerful because of his title of "god", would also scale above the collective unconscious. It's the logical follow through of the given evidence.

Unless we have direct anti-feats of Death scaling to the collective unconscious, he would scale.

You’re literally giving your head canon definition of god that’s not even backed up by your scans. Haumea literally tried to kill sbm after all of this so she clearly doesn’t see him as some truly omnipotent force of nature above.

She tries to and fails every time and is only doing because she's desperate. In her view shinra is only making more despair. She literally gives up when she realizes he made a world different from what she thought was possible, and yes, the Power of God dictates actual power:

Haumea comments what makes SBM the god of creation is twofold, his imagination and his "power of god". She further states that God is something neither she or the evangelist are, and it's a seat of power. Death is given this designation many times, both in SE and FF. He's both above the collective unconsciousness in power (evangelist) and on par with SBM per that role.

Soul eater (where Ohkubo originated with these days) notes Death has this "Power of God"

Shinra is the god of all creation while death is the god of death…literally 2 different types of gods contradicting your point. Shinra’s role is to rule of nature itself while death’s role doesn’t go past death, souls and the earth.

Wrong again. Death is the God of Death, Order and Ruler of the Cosmos. His name at his inception was literally GOD. From Death's own fragments was born Fear (Asura), who is also implied to be Adolla as Miatreya has pointed out. He is a supreme god as noted by Sho.

Shinra’s range isn’t limited by the earth which you debunked yourself so idk why you even brought it up. Rewinding time isn’t an anti feat to his range you’re just saying shit at this point. Shinra clearly has better range than beni…

You are the one arguing range for hax is an anti-feat. The rewinding point is to show Shinra couldn't just rewrite everything casually. Shinra even notes doing so was tiring him out.

He does have the title god as his real counterpart has that title and he embodies those perceptions. Pretty sure beni’s dopple himself says he’s a destroyer god. Scaling to the god tiers would put them at 2-C

Benimaru has a title given to him by the masses, not a title from Haumea who was merged with the entire CU explaining "power of god" means. Benimaru doesnt have the power of god, he died to the Adolla Flames, and Haumea confirms neither herself or the CU/Adolla are god.

Again the actual current tier is not part of the OP, the Soul Eater pages arent going to be changed immediately.

been saying this

as for actual anti feats, there are none shown. Death's soul hax range is shown to be the exact same range as SBM's, affecting earth.

Put me in agreement for now, I’ve talked to you cyber mostly about this off site, I’ll give this a longer look later tho

people like why not having affected arthur is an anti-feat when death didn't even know there was a human in space? and had no reason to assume there would be anyone in space.

He literally mentions arthur being in space while stating he can’t take his powers

All of this is just regurgitating what you’ve said before😐literally pain v2. Dogshit arguments due to dogshit reading comprehension. Yes shinra’s power is his imagination in connection to his authority over nature hence the name shinrabansho, while death’s power’s purpose is specified to death and souls big difference. The title god doesn’t put you above the collective unconscious, shinra is just above the collective unconscious while holding the title. Deaths wack ass has no feats past planetary in either series and his power is consistently shown to have that limit. The cosmos shit is buns and clearly not literal. I’ve never seen a couple statements take precedence over consistency like this.

tone it down with your foul language.

The statements hold weight, and the crt has two mods accepting it.

There is no regurgitating, you are literally ignoring everything. ive already shown how the title of power of god has correlation to scale above the CU, how ohkubo has kept this consistent between both parts. Your only contribution has been to respond with a condescending attitude.

What feats back up these statements? Planetary ones? And mods aren’t omniscient they can be wrong and often are.

Of course the title god means you’re strong but that doesn’t mean you’re above the collective unconscious.
You’re reasoning is, Shinra is called god, Shinra>collective unconscious, the title of god puts you above the collective unconscious. This is a correlation fallacy.

If Death has a multitude of statements that put him on par with FF God Tiers, he scales. FF being 2-c is irrelevant to the point of the crt, actual profile changes most likely won't happen until arc does his FF revisions (they prob aren't staying tier 2).

The great old of power explicitly says that God/Shinigami rules the cosmos, that it will view with its own eyes who is worthy of taking that role:

This same quote is repeated several times in chapter 80 and 81. It is not meant at all in a hyperbolic fashion as you previously claimed it is. Death presides over earth, humanity, death, life (sated as well by Kid), order (repeatedly stated throughout SE) and the cosmos as stated by the great old of power.

this is not the argument.

The argument is Haumea explains the role of God is associated with power, She states neither She or The CU are god and also says she isnt strong, She says Shinra is classified as god because of the Power of God. The Power of God is a classification Ohkubo repeatedly gives to Death, which makes sense. Shinra made him as his replacement and to be an absolute entity (which he is still referred to as in SE. Im saying the "Power of God" means you are above the CU in power because that is haumea and Ohkubo say.

Didn't really see anything for this, why isn't it literal? What could cosmos mean in the context cause clearly it's not just talking about the earth.

Your multitude of statements is one title of god, he has no feats in either story that come close to 2-C let alone above planetary it’s so inconsistent it’s not even funny. And you’re kinda glazin arc acting like his crt is indubitably gonna get the verse downgraded.

tbh it doesnt matter if it changes at this moment, since the pages aren't being changed immediately. There's a part 2 of this eventually, and Nierre and Arkenis are working to improve the soul eater pages over the next weeks. Furthermore, Miatreya is working on a cosmology/expanation blog for fire force, and Ive noticed the FF pages need some work. The point of the crt is literally just "does death and asura scale to the ff god tiers", nothing more>

To close out on my end on that point, look at how Ohkubo has handled the title of "power of god" form a chronological standpoint of his work release.

Ohkubo spends the entirety of SE associating the "power of god' with literal power, not as a baseless title. In SE, it dictates you as the strongest, the one who rules the cosmos.

Flash Forward to Fire Force. Ohkubo builds up the inclusion of elements of SE, culmination in Soul Resonance, the main mechanic of SE, resulting in Shinra becoming the strongest. this leads to Haumea soloing him out as God, and being that god because of the "power of god", another carry over from Soul Eater. He makes Death, who is titled as God and referred to an as absolute entity and a supreme god. Furthermore, Death causes mankind to become stronger than they were before, even after losing pyro abilities. Ohkubo closes out the transition to Soul Eater with this, with the notion that the new generation surpasses the old; SE has this very concept in it.

Now look at it from a retroactive viewpoint, Death has the "power of god" in Soul Eater. Furthermore, Adolla returns to the world from his very own fragment in the form of Asura. Ohkubo is super consistent on his narrative intentions between both works.

Death is meant to be on the same tier as the God title. Haumea per her own words is weaker than this title, as is the CU.

Didn't really see anything for this, why isn't it literal? What could cosmos mean in the context cause clearly it's not just talking about the earth.
You rule earth you rule the cosmos type beat. Fiction always has statements of characters “ruling existence” or “Being beyond imagination” when it’s clearly not the case

I get the vibe you despise statements. They are consistent, Death scales.

This is purely an assumption on your part. from a narrative view, its meant to be more than just the world, as Naoh (greed version) wants literally everything by taking this role, not just earth. he wants to own everything in existence, that why he wants the title.

Your whole argument is based on assuming haumea’s verbal intention and it falls flat when bringing up feats and consistency.

Kid gained shinigami power and was surprised at planetary feats😭im sure he wasn’t hiding beyond infinitely greater power.

If you rule the earth you rule the earth, not the cosmos, you aren't making sense. No these statements are context dependent, a character "ruling existence" can be much more vague on what existence is in the verse and if it's referring to power alone and beyond imagination is in no way similar to these statements, all this heavily requires the context to align with it, and you aren't making an argument for why "cosmos" in this case is only referring to the Earth.

Cause nobody’s strength insinuates nor has been shown to have any power beyond that. A character stating they rule existence is the same as stating they rule the cosmos…you know cause the cosmos falls under existence.

Asura and Kishin as Adolla:

Ok, this is a topic that needs to be addressed because it is a pretty substantiative position in regards to Death’s scaling. So I’m going to lay the ground work for why the Kishin is meant to represent Adolla in the Soul Eater world.

First…what happened to the original Adolla:

Explanation: Adolla was simply “put to sleep” as Shinra describes it. Shinra destroyed the original form of Despair that was Adolla, as it didn’t belong in the new world Shinra created.

However, it’s noted that Adolla was never indicated to have been completely destroyed by Shinra. In fact his words of “go back to sleep” seems to indicate that he just made the being weaker and cast it off to the depths of the world, away from the new humanity.

And if Adolla is established to still exist after Fire Force’s conclusion, then what happened to it? And how did it come to be from the new world….

The Madness of the Soul Eater world:

I find this part to be the most interesting section in regards to Adolla’s relation to the Kishin and how it came to be.

The Kishin is madness. I think that’s a plainly established fact throughout the series. The madness that resides in all humans take hold of individuals and make them completely devoid of all emotions. But how did this madness come to be when Shinra supposedly eliminated all the despair of Adolla from the previous world?

Well, you see why Shinra may have eliminated the “despair” the old world by making Death more intimate, he “created a world of madness” when he did so.

The usage of the term “madness” is incredibly purposeful on Ohkubo’s part as it’s meant to establish the ground work for Adolla’s future impact on the soul eater world as the Kishin.

Shinra may have eliminated “despair,” however “madness” and “fear” still remain in the hearts of man and thus the Kishin will always remain so long as life exists. It’s even confirmed in Soul Eater that the irresponsible act of cutting away fear (or eliminating Despair as was the case for Shinra) was the genesis of the world brimming with madness. Thus making way for the Kishin to revive itself. Note: while Asura says “Shinigami” I believe the person he’s referring to here is Shinra as he was the one who both “cut away fear” (eliminated Adolla’s despair) and “brimmed the world full of madness.” (Creates the world full of madness in the first place. It seems this was retroactively retconned thanks to Fire Force to me.)

The Kishin being “fear” itself is incredibly coinciding with Adolla who derives its power of despair through humanities fear of death.

If that wasn’t enough, madness was one of the components making up despair in Adolla in the first place as well. So the Kishin being remained off of “madness and fear” coincided with what we know makes up Adolla in the first place.

It’s honestly a little brilliant on Ohkubo’s part. How everything ties together to form this very narratively consistent gateway towards the Kishin being the remnants of what Adolla was in the past.

The madness that the Kishin carries is also stated to be endless and infinite multiple times in Soul Eater which coincides with the endless amount of despair Adolla carries within it thanks to the very history of humanities despair it embodies.

Additional supporting Evidence: Fire Force is the prequel to Soul Eater.

Yeah so we’re all aware that Fire Force is the prequel to Soul Eater. With the moon in soul eater being the way it is due to Adolla’s reality warping and the sun being the way it is due to Shinra’s reality warping.

Because this is very established in the series, I’d like to just quickly…note a couple…distinct similarities between the two.

Look at them…just look at them and tell me they don’t relate.

Yeah I thought so. It’s incredibly consistent with the narrative that the Kishin is the remnants of Adolla, brought forth due to the madness created from the new world. As well as it being consistent with the narrative’s direction of Fire Force being a total prequel to Soul Eater.

The three eyes used to represent the Kishin are the same three eyes used to represent Adolla. Along with the mentions of the Kishin being “fear itself” just like Adolla is and the fact that Shinra confirmed not to have destroyed Adolla, but simply “put it to sleep” indicates a clear pathway for the Kishin to be the Adolla of the Soul Eater world.

Your whole argument is based on assuming haumea’s verbal intention and it falls flat when bringing up feats and consistency.
Feats? Death beats Asura, who is the reborn Adolla.

By your continued matter on statements or scaling not mattering, SBM wouldnt be his current tier 2.
Being called god all creation? A statement, since his creation feats dont encompass all creation on panel. Beating Adolla? Scaling.

What planetary feat regrading Kid are you even talking about? Kid was in awe his father had self-restraint to not use the order of madness on humanity, proving Kishin wrong.

As I said above the narrative intention fallows for Death to scale.

Ignoring Haumea's intention? Validity on Shinra's power as well goes out to window. You want to question and say these statements arent valid because you dont want death scaling, not because they are invalid.

Ngl I ain’t reading allat but i disagree, they have no connection other than a third eye. The kishin also represents fear and came from death which is way different from adolla which is an amalgamation of concepts

Cause nobody’s strength insinuates nor has been shown to have any power beyond that. A character stating they rule existence is the same as stating they rule the cosmos…you know cause the cosmos falls under existence.
I mean the statements is insinuates a god's power is much higher than just earth, and why do they need to show such feats if the story is implying so especially since Fire Force which has those feats is connected to Soul Eater which has backscaling to Fire Force?

Characters stating they rule existence is not the same as the cosmos, contextually speaking one can be metaphorical as one's hax can have control over existence, ruling the cosmos is well control over the universe or power on that level so again your argument requires you to prove cosmos in this context is only referring to the earth and not the cosmos.

Feats? Death beats Asura, who is the reborn Adolla.
Weird head cannon
By your continued matter on statements or scaling not mattering, SBM wouldnt be his current tier 2.
He actually has feats unlike death
Being called god all creation? A statement, since his creation feats dont encompass all creation on panel. Beating Adolla? Scaling.
one shotting adolla=Feat
What planetary feat regrading Kid are you even talking about? Kid was in awe his father had self-restraint to not use the order of madness on humanity, proving Kishin wrong.
He was in shock about his new capalil bro reread the panel
As I said above the narrative intention fallows for Death to scale.
In your mind
Ignoring Haumea's intention? Validity on Shinra's power as well goes out to window. You want to question and say these statements arent valid because you dont want death scaling, not because they are invalid.
Your just desperate

With all due respect if anything your responses are showing one sentence dismissals with no further evidence.

To add on to everything I've said it took SBM multiple attempts, to the point it tired him out, to create and perfect the world of death. This includes lessening the value of life and creating and empowering death. Death is no mere weak aspect but rather something so potent it takes more effort for it to be created than the basic creation functions of SBM, who again is the God of all creation.

This lines up perfectly with the fact that death can then take and further in power The souls of all mankind to exceed the level of power that was present in fireforce.

Ngl I ain’t reading allat but i disagree, they have no connection other than a third eye. The kishin also represents fear and came from death which is way different from adolla which is an amalgamation of concepts
If you’re not even gonna engage with the arguments that they are the same being and just disagree while providing no counter then I don’t think your position is viable in the discussion.

I mean the statements is insinuates a god's power is much higher than just earth, and why do they need to show such feats if the story is implying so especially since Fire Force which has those feats is connected to Soul Eater which has backscaling to Fire Force?
Story implies the opposite since it’s never mentioned anywhere else.
Terrible counter doggie, ruling existence is often stated outside of hax and in terms of power.

With all due respect if anything your responses are showing one sentence dismissals with no further evidence.
I don’t need to type essa
To add on to everything I've said it took SBM multiple attempts, to the point it tired him out, to create and perfect the world of death. This includes lessening the value of life and creating and empowering death. Death is no mere weak aspect but rather something so potent it takes more effort for it to be created than the basic creation functions of SBM, who again is the God of all creation.
He wasn’t tired out just out of it as in it became redundant
This lines up perfectly with the fact that death can then take and further in power The souls of all mankind to exceed the level of power that was present in fireforce.
Wrong those with strong soul’s already became more powerful death didn’t do anything

Counter my points or concession accepted

“Counter my point” mf I was never in an argument with you 🗿

I simply brought forth the evidence that Adolla was the Kishin to the table and all you responded with is “not reading that but I disagree.”

If anything it’s incumbent upon you to disprove my points considering you’re the ones who disagree with the position of the Kishin being Adolla.
