I have to reread Fire Force, I was thinking and realized that the whole thing about Shinra being a demon, wanting to be a hero and the evangelist is an analogy of Jesus and the Antichrist with the Evangelist being the Antichrist and descending to earth before Jesus and pretending to be him and when Jesus[Shinra] actually descended to earth humanity did not believe in him and thinks of him as a demon because of something the Antichrist did[the death of Shō(The holy spirit) and Mari(Hope)] but the faithful will know how to recognize Jesus and that is the point of the entire eighth brigade and those who do not believe in Shinra being a demon.
