Tanking hits from a weaker character doesn't immediately imply a 10x increase. Barely even a 2x, look at Dragon Ball Z for example.

I just feel like it's too vague. It doesn't even say it makes him 10x stronger, just a vague run-of-the-mill statement of 10x stronger than a man. Like I get what you mean, but just going by what happened, and what was said, I'm not feeling too confident about it.

I'm sure Death Battle will use it though.
DB deals different with these, toryiama iirc disagreed with ssj1 being x50 thing, also he doesnt seem to care or remember these, One Piece creator knew more of his series then him

The series pointed out a lot how the devil gene increases their power a lot for the user, with the true forms pointed out how much exactly, makes no sense to be just x10 of a random person, its seems clear cut imo

Also doubtful, they claimed the movie cant be used, by taking an outdated response from the director of the series, which didnt even claim exactly what they said and ignoring a more recent one that says otherwise, plus the latest game showing otherwise as well to what they said

I have a feeling DB might have peeped the profiles back when they were outdated and wrong

But anyway, if Heihachi vs Geese would happen, that would be something cool, but honestly how they dealt with Ryu vs Jin....makes me question how they view both characters and place them

Ok Review time: Batch 2
Starting with.....
Goro vs Machamp!
An unexpected bop, I don’t need to tell you about it. Every moment slapped and even the non-fight stuff was fun (one of the really good Boomstick family jokes and the joke at the end was charming.)
The use of the camera was great, the action was well paced while being quite instense (even mimicking a three round structure from a fighting game.) Most notable was how much personality was given to the characters (mostly Machamp.) The dialogue with how Goro almost mistook Machamp for a Shokan or the almighty dab. Don’t forget how Machamp gave the audience a thumbs up, suggesting that he is aware of the 4th wall, right before an amazing death.
The track was a phenomenal mix of both series with a hard hitting EDM remix of the Main theme from MK and a classic Pokémon Battle theme. Considering how well it fit the battle, even fitting the 3 act structure, I loved it.
Overall a great episode.
Booster vs Cable
Similar to the above, a suprise bop.
The gags at the start were nice, same with the small lesson at the end. The fight had some good characterization for both, even being chuckle-some at times. It was a bit quick for my taste but besides that, it worked very well. The sprite for Booster was pretty well done, the time gimmick was used well (time stop, clones, plenty of travel.) the death was also sick.
The song was serviceable but forgettable “Days of Booster Past.” Is a nice title though.
Overall unless you are that tired of comics in the show, a good episode.
Kakashi vs Obi Wan
One of my favorites in the whole show mainly for the good choreography and ridiculously good graphics. Like damn look at the force storm scene, the genjutsu, the last charge. I could gush about for a whole thread, but I won’t. Also I gotta admit it is a bit janky at times, though it never hurt my experience. The writing was plain fun, with Obert spouting more prequel meme lines then anyone thought possible while not disrupting the flow for gags.
The song, Force and Lightning, is fine by itself but it is used so incredibly well in the fight.
When a crucial moment occurrs, it knows exactly when to jump up, or bring in the guitar. The force air grab thing and the storm Obi makes are way better because of how well it is used.
Amazing, how did three great episodes get made in a row, what could ruin this streak.......
Daniel of The Phantom vs Jake Long Boy. I gotta say this.
I hate this episode, such a missed opportunity and boring animation.
The Voice acting was annoying, the animation was strange (mostly how bad the sprites were.) the singing joke was unfunny, the ending felt abrupt, the dialogue was cringe-inducing.
And I don’t even remember the song.
The only good thing here was the clone fight, everything else sucked.
Luckily the next fight is at least serviceable.
She-Ra vs Wonder Woman happened: It wasn’t terrible, in fact the animation was pretty neat; they looked and moved well, while also having neat elements like the invisible jet, neat shots and the magic sword usage. Though it was only pretty neat, I couldn’t find anything super stand out. A decent death at least.
The song “Princesses of Power.” Was sufficiently cinematic yet only really works as background music.
Overall despite the shortness, I can say I kinda like it, at least I don’t hate it like some others.
I think that’s the halfway point.
Neat.

@Hunterzillas tbf I think you can also make the connection that Xeno Goku and Archie Sonic are a little/generally more mature then their canon counterparts with exclusive adventures and or OG villains that are they're own. Of course that connection is very superficial but it's still there

But anyway, if Heihachi vs Geese would happen, that would be something cool, but honestly how they dealt with Ryu vs Jin....makes me question how they view both characters and place them
I'm pretty sure Geese wins, that's what most of the people i've talked to on G1 and such are saying

I'm also betting (and i think iv'e said this before on this thread) that boomstick's dad will show up for it

Man i really don't know who can asura face now cause his only other options Atrocitus and Kratos left has Red Hulk and War/Dante if they were to come back

Kyle Rayner VS Simon the Digger in Death Battle: Universe gets screwed again.
Kyle Rayner VS Simon the Digger out Death Battle: Like Kyle Rayner VS Wally West, they stop fighting after realizing that they are not enemies.

I'm actually going to agree with this.

I wasn't a fan of the sprites (I which it was animated like the cartoons but I knew that wasn't going to happen). The dialog could have been better, I know the two joke alot but it was overused especially since they don't do that much when serious. I also agree that ending could have been better, given Danny's arsenal, they could have had a better finishing move in all honesty. I wish they did better research. If they ever bring either of these two back (which likely won't happen) they need to do better.

they explained they wanted to do more but didn't have enough time
also tbf the dialogue was based on Mid-2000 Cartoons
frankly thought the fight was fine would've been better in HD but hey it was fine for what it was in

Also neither Jake nor Danny are coming back
hell when you actually pay attention most of the returnees on DB have been mainly Video games character's/Comic books so unless you fit in those categories good luck lol

I dont agree with what they say, also bold of them to say Geese wins to begin with, as their research is honestly crappy when it comes to some stuff they claim on their analysis, like how Lobo scales to the supes amped enough to take forger out

That 500 petatons thing also is for surface wiping, which has already a calc for performing such destruction, so dont know where they even got that value at all, let alone Heihachi scales to characters stated several times in lore of having that power

Only thing you can say Geese has is speed and like not even by a big one, at least over base Heihachi, which gets null after he goes full power to him

I know that, I just think they could have changed some stuff. I know what the dialog is based on, I was simply explaining it was overdone in my opinion. The fight was ok, I won't deny that, I was simply just agreeing that it could have been better.
