Should we also consider Detective Pikachu vs Paramount Sonic and Snorlax vs Winnie the Pooh among those "wanted by normies ignored by debaters" matchups? Those could be totally fun to watch despite being very clear cut stomps.

So default height is for our eyes only.

Sadly size difference problems still hinges on Frieza vs Megatron and Gohan vs Ultraman, even by Kirby vs Majin Buu standard.

That said, how do you call for default height of Hoopa? It has a confined form (the mascot for the movies) and an unbound form (the "ultimate" form).

Snorlax VS Winnie? I never knew that's a normie matchup going around, haven't heard of it. I commonly heard Snorlax VS The Blob (Marvel) as Lax's MU.

I'll be completely honest, I have never, not once, ever, seen a request for Snorlax vs Winnie the Pool. Like ever. Not in casual circles, not in Pokemon circles, not even as a joke. I don't even know where you found that one.

I have seen Detective Pikachu v Paramount Sonic, at least. Isn't DCEU Shazam his current most popular opponent now though?

Well sure Death Battle will let it transform between the two forms.

IIRC by the end of Clash of Ages Hoopa can willingly transform between confined form and unbound form with the Prison Bottle - held by itself or by an owner it befriends or controls.

Its overuse of "infinite" without good explanation kind of hurts itself.

And I can hear people screaming VBW downplaying Touhou Project AND wanking it at the same time.

Are you talking about Touhou's usage of the terms infinite, or my blog's usage of infinite stats?

If it's in general, I mean, speaking of the infinite sizes of realms is kind of needed to HAVE cosmology to that degree in the first place, is it not? If you don't establish these realms as infinite in size, you can't even hope to get beyond 3A lol.

If it's my blog.... The Infinite speed stuff or infinite size universe stuff? I explain the infinite speed well enough, the infinite speed stuff is pretty clear cut for Touhou, not much TO explain or elaborate there. Character crosses an infinite cosmological structure = infinite speed. I also make sure to note that the infinite speed stats ultimately dont affect the matchup regardless because the measurable calcs are still far superior. Not using infinte speed means the lowball for crossing the Dream World would be 22.5 Septillion x FTL, which completely mogged anything on Yuffie's side The infinite universe stuff probably could have been explained a little better, but I elaborate in the cosmology section and give the required information in the stats section as well, and the infinite universes are indexed quite thoroughly on VSBW, which I note as a source, elaborating more would've just bloated this already massive blog further than needed.

With the reminder that the spooky season is coming up, I might as well ask which Halloween-themed MUs we'd wish for (maybe not this year, or the next, but at some point):

For example:

Takaya Sakaki vs Malos (XC2). The deluded antagonists with quote 'artifical' powers from a small rag-tag band (Strega and post day Torna). Strega's Personas aren't 'normal', and require meds to fully control (to say nothing of the fact that Kirijos meddling means that only 3 of the original 100 Strega 'members' / test subjects actually survived), whereas (as pointed out by Klaus and his expo dump) even Aegis core crystals (and by extension all Blades) are just computer programs and data sent back to him. In spite of both characters psychopathy, both can be interpreted as neutral in their morality, Malos being described as 'neither good nor evil' by Klaus, and Tayaka's belief in Nyx (Death) as an inevitability of life being proven correct to the rest of the world. Both are also responsible for the in-canon deaths of temporary party members (Shinjiro Aragaki and Vandham respectively).
Added Bonus: Both also show indifference to their fellow members. Tayaka giving Jin Shirato a passing glance on the run-up to Nyx (to say nothing of his 'wasted potential' comments to Chidori reviving Junpei) and Malos not giving two ***** about the deaths of Jin/Akhos etc. before Aion.
Oh look their acquaintances are both named 'Jin'... what a surprise...

Achi / Kachi / Earth Mimicry (Sin and Punishment)

  • Both are neutral-antagonistic forces who assume one role or form, for the purpose of resurrecting or summoning a godlike being to ultimately destroy earth (Deus / Earth Mimicry).
  • Both can be interpreted as the final bosses of their respective games, or party to those who fight it (Uroboros being a form of Miang that Krelian summons after Deus's defeat, and Earth Mimicry being the final boss of SotE, or playing party to Isa Jo's Final Form in SotS, depending on which game you're playing).
  • Both can be interpreted as around Planet level, depending on the form in question.
  • Both have design aspects that are just cryptic and trippy af.

I guess for real talk...

I like both DBZ & Sonic. Both of em could use wins, but a DBZ L still makes it neutral 6 wins & 6 losses, as would Sonic W rise it to that level.

Sonic could use a win streak of even 2, if you dont count Metal as winner of EggWily then they have no win streaks.

Sure DBZ would get 2nd 3 loss streak, but ehh it happens. SF has 6 loss streak. Marvel has a 4 & a 3 loss streaks, as well as three 2 loss streaks. DBZ also has a 5 win streak that only DC matches, they have less to lose in streaks.

I dont care for Trunks, bit too try hard cool, he didnt do too much in arcs tbh. Silver is ok fine I guess (didnt play 06 lol), so he can get pity here as well.

now this is bias lol
 
Death Battle Casts for the month of October will be called "Skeloctober Skelabration", so the entire month will be Halloween themed.

What skeleton match-ups would you guys suggest?
