Nope. Most of the crossover characters in Dx2 don't scale to any 1-A Demons. Sonic's best feat in Dx2 is knocking Hell Biker (~Low 2-C) off his bike.

Yeah... as long as it works in favour of the story, the power scale really is secondary. A small conflict can be even more intense than a multiversal war if done well.
It's... pretty easy to tell when something was written only to make its characters busted.

iirc the analysis had Dante win because of a raindrop slashing speed feat, Quicksilver supposedly being able to negate Witch Time, and a better pain tolerance for stab wounds while DD vs Hulk kinda pulled a NLF and said Doomsday is immune to any degree of physical force
