It depends when DB decides to do a DQ rep. It likely be around the time DQ12 gets released which is predicted late 2023 to early 2024 (Assuming Square Enix don't fall back into the bad habit of announcing games too early).
I'll throw a few of my favourites out there:
Probably either Erdrick or the Luminary. Both have that Smash Bros popularity, plus Dragon Quest 3 is getting the HD-2D treatment.
Who do you think would be a good MU for either?
For Luminary, my personal favourite is Trunks, though I've also heard Flynn from SMT as a possibility. As for Erdrick, I generally see Crono or Marth as his main options.

I usually try and find characters that match somewhat myself. Then I'll ask some friends around if they have any ideas. After that I start to check around other sites to see if anyone else has MU ideas like here, YT, and such.
Theres also Duel Terminal which puts a lot of characters anywhere from High 6-A to High 4-C/4-AThat's to huge of a gap then

Oh yeah, that's likely something you'll need to do yourself. Or try posting it to reddit on DB MUs or something asking for any characters that might work against yours, provide a list of defining traits and abilities and such. Might work out!

This is a pretty cold take if you ask me. Of course most people would prefer established characters to be on DB, rather than an OC that maybe a few people know.
