i don’t know, forcing your enemy into inconceivable pain where they’d probably not be able to fight you seems like a win con
although I don’t know what else you could give Herc, besides his arrows, he doesn’t have many ways to put down Wukong. Like yeah, Herc has the strength advantage, but that’s not gonna do much when Wukong is likely immune to blunt force on top of his immortality, so he can’t really beat Wukong to death.

Wukong isn't starting the fight with clones already made, right? Because if the speed gap is as wide as Cal says (Even being super generous to the monke, quintillion c vs trevigintillion c is a 10^51 times speed gap), I'd imagine Herc can get an arrow off before Wukong can even think of making clones

Swan sent Cyberpunk music to Therewolf....specifically Bloodborne music for the fetus part for Ego Death
Ben said that the stats/presentation given to characters are kinda ruining them, as for example, Magneto is not supposed to be this powerful, but DB make him out more powerful than how the casual audience think he is. Figuring out a balance is impossible per Ben.

The concept of immortality can be tricky across different verses.
Even our pages suggest different types of immortality.
Being able to live forever is the basic immortality. Being able to come back to Earth realm from Hell realm because hell has no place or name for a place is another. Being removed the concept of death is yet another.
But yeah Sun Wukong is too tough for Herc to deal any meaningful damage.
Also, Wukong can regenerate and duplicate and transform, making a huge army Herc cannot clear if not just be overwhelmed. Wukong can also slap with his "gamgong" / "jingang" staff that can stretch super long. Or just look for any weakness of Herc with his fiery eyes.
Gautama Buddha really put a lot of effort in nerfing Wukong and making the "journey to the west" way more challenging than it should be given the powers the main cast possess.
Where has the story of Monkey Prince (DC) been going? Maybe Monkie Kid vs Monkey Prince is now a thing. (Monkey Prince IIRC fought villains from Aquaman and Shazam so I think he also sits at such ballpark)

The thing is, even if Sun is in indescribable pain and tries to kill himself to no avail, won't any attempts of maiming himself increase the chances of him making clones, like if he cuts himself apart or if his hairs are removed from his body?
Only one of them seems to have a method to actually permanently kill the other, plus it's hard to believe Herc will go straight for the arrows. It's more likely he attempts to cut up or destroy Sun, which increases the chance of cloning occuring. The more Suns there are, the quicker has chances of winning will dwindle.

Arrows are like THE weapon of Herc. He uses those whenever he’s going against big threats like centaurs or giants.
Also Herc does know his way out of the underworld. It’s no Wukong immortality but it’s not like Herc couldn’t waltz out of hell if he wanted to, especially given that he beat the shit out of Thanatos before.

Won't Wukong's enhances senses mean he knows how Herc's immortality works as soon as he pops up in the Underworld? Unless Herc rushes back to battle at max speed, that gives Sun a LOT of time to prepare a counterattack or devise a method to put him down for good.
