More like they want to create enough material for the Anime adapt, so the Manga will keep his head start ( where Toyotaro was forced to give up creative control to Toriyama) So far the Anime will have 4 arcs to animate including potential filler arcs inbetween. ( DBS had GoD, RoF, U7vsU6, Goku Black Arc, Universe survival Arc and 3 filler arcs with Barry Kahn, Copy Vegeta and Hit)
Considering how trash the latest manga arcs have been, I'd kinda prefer if the anime just went its own way if it ever returned, with arcs unique to it.

Thankfully the manga being ahead is a good thing. Toei can fix many of Toriyama's/ Toyotaro's mistakes and improve them.
Never understood why Moro was mainly fighting melee H2h AS A RANGED SORCERER. Also they are so bad at writing around hax abilities it hurts my eyes. 4B Moro could absorb 3A Vegeta's energy but 3A Moro couldn't absorb 3A MUI Goku's energy somehow because he was moving too fast whereas it was previously established that Moro had Solar system level range. XD

Some bozo uploaded a reaction video to Vegeta vs Thor on YouTube with the full DB playing 💀
HAHAHAHAHAHAH I agree Thor stomps but holy cow. The Vegeta downplay is too much. It wouldn't have affected the result but stillXD

Btw. they didn't give Thor Odinforce. Dunno but Deathbattle seems to have a obsession with Warrior's madness and World Breaker form.

What downplay are you referring to?

Scaling chains were totally messed up because they tried to mix manga scaling with Anime scaling , movie scaling and statement scaling and kinda got lost.. They also tried to mix concepts about transformation and multipliers from all 4 sources. . Using Composite Vegeta actually weakened him instead of making him stronger ironically. It didn't matter here because they downplayed Thor as well (and still refuse for 10 years to use Odinforce Thor and stick to Warrior's madness but that's a different matter)

How the **** do they do one of the worst stomps on the show and then follow that up with an even worse stomp?
Don't worry. There are much more stomps. But even if the nuke-tanking potential for Homelander is counted.

By the way, while Billy Butcher's laser baby feat is debunked here, Billy Butcher has his own laser now.

This is sad

Yet we're getting Tetsuo in this season, who is sure a trending character amirite?

Yes, it sounds like a higher-up overruled the more "cooler" match-up in favor of the more popular match-up, but you have to realize, DB NEEDS a couple of huge match-ups every now and then so the obscure fights can happen so they can get the subs and views. Didn't a member said this before recently? If this season is a success, there will be more chances of obscure characters coming in?

well if that's the case, I can put up with the garbage that is the next mu, but just to give more characters a chance to show up.

Heres the thing
Bardock vs Omni-Man would net similar views as well its not some Mu that features some irrelevant character outta ya parent VHS tapes he's one of the most popular characters outta Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball is a money Maker franchise for DB

What is the logic anyway?
SSJB Goku = SSJB Vegeta, and when Goku applied a Kaioken x20 to fight Jiren Vegeta kept up after going Super Saiyan Blue Evolved, implying both increases in power are roughly the same. SSJB Vegeta matched Base Toppo, and SSJBE Vegeta contended with God of Destruction Candidate Toppo. Since Ultra Ego and Toppo’s G.O.D. forms are extremely similar the “best estimate” for UE was that it provided a similar increase to G.O.D. Toppo, or roughly 20x scaling from SSJBE.

Episode was actually pretty good, sprite animation would've been better if it was longer though as is the case with most good modern DB episodes.

I'd be fine with this if it didn't completely ruin the chances of Bardock vs Omni Man happening. It's likely these two never get a runback unless casuals start shilling Bardock vs Omni Man.

The speed gap was gigantic, Hulk v Broly is def outdated now. As for Homelander vs Omni-Man, it’s probably one of the most straightforward episodes they’ll ever do. Hope the fight slaps but the match isn’t debatable in the slightest.
Say that speed gap to Thor vs Wonder Woman.

And strength is only 10 times difference?

A lucky guess is a lucky guess. Just not everyone are happy with that.

Maybe Homelander is picked against Omni-Man because:
1. The management deemed that Homelander vs Omni-Man likely draws more views than Bardock vs Omni-Man
2. Somehow the management does not want to overuse Dragon Ball characters. (While Marvel and DC characters have been overused)
3. This technically frees Invincible vs Gohan
4. This brings in arguably newer franchises

FSEJS6CVIAE7-CX
2 Zen'O + Grand Priest (if no Dragon Ball games) ez

Omnilander is fine. Homelander really only had Hancock as a decent MU, as Brightburn and Tighten are absolutely horrible picks. Even Bardock, for Omni-Man wtf does Bardock have that separates him from literally any other DB character?
nothing but are we really gonna act like Homelander brings so much to the table ? Beyond his TV version banter and gore?
