Korra vs Storm was a really old popular match up, but it is by no means a legacy match, same with blake vs mikasa, I might not really like MachoAids, but it was atleast something that was built up for years as a legacy.

Exactly Korra vs Storm was only a MU Ben wanted and was only for few years before her other picks took over

Guys they said countless times to not focus too much on the legacy aspect. Since Yodickey no less.
Now I do think it should hold true for the finale and if it’s not Galacron or Colex I’ll be disappointed (I don’t like Haloid either but I’ve come to…tolerate it), but besides that, y’all only have yourselves to blame for thinking the season would’ve been nothing but matches like Diocard the entire season.

obviously not every MU was going to be some Main Event or even Upper Card MU but when you are doing a season you would want do MU that would justify their placement or least be what fans want currently

But if they ever used Gilgamesh from Fate, do you think they'll only use Fate/stay night feats and claim the Extra/Grand Order feats are like Archie Sonic compared to Game Sonic?
And who do you think Gilgamesh would ever fight in DB should for some reason he come to DB (as unlikely as it is)? I hear plenty, like Algol, Doctor Doom, Yukari Yakumo, Haoh, Sinbad, or even Yhwach. IDK if he wins all of them but I think even Full Power loses to Sinbad and prolly loses to Doom's hax as well but he might beat the others. But then again, who knows what the DB Research team thinks of Fate stats. The only Fate stuff DB has done is two DBXes, so I have no idea where they could place Gilgamesh in.

I wouldn't mind either, I just don't think it will perform well unless it's really really really good and the algorithm helps them. I think Death Battle needs a huge match-up that brings in more clicks/subs. They need it.

- Both of their skillset works off of each other pretty nicely
- Pretty good animation potential
- Brings two new franchise/series in DB
Cons:
- Skullgirls is fairly niche though ARMS somewhat decent popularity might boost it up a little
- Not really highly requested
- Twintelle only appeared in one game and is fairly featless on her own without scaling and lacks material in general
- No good sprites for Twintelle for 2D sprites unless custom sprites are used
- On the other hand, there is a 3D model for Cerebella that's ready to be used that can fit well against Twintelle but a 3D Skullgirls character would be weird and awkward to see
- Cerebella stomps
- Limited dialogue potential as Twintelle, though has a personality, doesn't really say some interesting lines (though it shouldn't be too big of an issue and DB can insert full lines while keeping her personality in character)
VS Mystique Sonia (Hero 108)
Pros:
- Brings two new franchise/series in DB
- Skullgirls' jazz and Hero 108's Asian instruments and slight techno would make for an interesting fusion as a soundtrack
- Their abilities and skills would work well on each other
- Has some banter potential thanks to their personalities that would play off from each other fairly well
- Would excel best in hand-drawn animation

- Hero 108 is extremely obscure and niche and Skullgirls' already fairly niche status doesn't really help too much
- Mystique Sonia stomps
- Also not really highly requested
- If purely using sprites, then MS has no ready sprites in hand without the use of custom sprites

Batman's palace probably would be extremely difficult to break into, though, considering he would know the tactics that Joker and Co would use and considering all the mental protections he's put on himself throughout the years.

Probably not, they like to call it Death Battle curse. Or maybe they have and we dont know about it.
As for this "legacy" season, there is one major thing for it thats not talked about. Large part of it are matches that people working on it want to do. We know Chad wanted MM vs KAM, but Ben has wanted Korra vs Storm since S3. We know Ultraguy asked for Black vs RF, the team in general liked Lex vs Doom & Shadow vs Ryuko. Large reason why it doesnt feel like true legacy season for matches is thats there are a lot of personal team wants rather than community wants.
