For what reasons?
It would require a huge budget and due to IRL reasons, I don't see that happening. I think Madara vs Aizen will be our finale.

I was confused as to why they glossed over the speed gap too but it seems like Relativistic Steven is bunk
Leaving Star @ MHS made no sense in Death Battle world. It wouldn't have bug me so much if it weren't for the very next episode because they had Link rolling over at 10% speed of light by avoiding a laser. Star and Marco avoid a laser in the intro and she creates laser puppies out of thin air in the first episode of the show. Her generic wand blasts has been referred as laser beams by monsters.
Yes Yes i know how this site views lasers
Marco can react and reflect lasers
Star can react to laser blasts in almost point blank range
Plus factor in the planet busting laser, it's planet busting, but not SoL? In Death Battle world, Star should've been on par in terms of speed (probs even faster), but with her ButterFly Form taking the speed category due to her flight and dimensional travel. Factor in Skywynne's time manip spells in the book, and yeah it's not even fair at this point, though this matchup was always a stomp.

I don't know what Steven speed would be considered to be in this site if we take away the lasers feat. Garnet reacted to lightning, but she knew it was going to strike due to her Future Vision.

I really hope Akuma's fight is 3D. I'm praying. Let me have some hope!

It seems to me that Dio vs Alucard is a battle that is realistically likely to be never-ending. On one hand, Dio doesn't have much that can kill Schroedinger Alucard, but on the other hand Alucard isn't packing anything that can take Dio down either. Sure, Dio isn't as good at healing, but Dio was ripped apart in the first place by Star Platinum and Jonathan Joestar, who are packing much more fire-power than Alucard. If Dio's head was still intact after a blow from Star Platinum then what's a blow from Alucard going to do? I don't think Alucard can dish out enough damage to overcome Dio's regeneration.

On the other hand, the only way to destroy Schroedinger Alucard is to either destroy his soul, erase the concept of his existence, alter his fate so he can't return, destroy his mind, and a few other hax, but the only means Dio has that could do it is destroying his mind. Dio has hypnosis which only works on the weak-minded or those who are already leaning towards that way of thinking, which I don't see working on Alucard, and flesh buds which are definitely stronger. The problem is that Alucard scales above True Vampire Seras who scales above base Seras who resisted Zorin's illusions which affected the entire mercenary group. I'm not sure Dio can destroy Alucard's mind. In fact, Alucard might be able to attack Dio's mind in some limited way. It seems like an endless back and forth. Granted we don't know how Schroedinger will work with time stopped, but since it stops time for all but Dio it's likely Alucard will regenerate as normal after time resumes.

Alucard is kind of terrible as a versus character because he is, in competitive Pokemon terms, a one-trick wall. A wall which takes hits like a champ but can't do much in response. Like Shuckle knowing recover and having shed skin as its ability, and actually having a good hp stat, comparable to Chansey's or something. Good at stalling but not much else, making it a good way to make endless battles.

Relativistic Steven is not bunk. In fact they acknowledge Steven is relativistic while Star is just MHS normally. Just
1. they took the Star charging time as multiplicative and not exponential or logarithmic
2. they equalise the projectile travel speed with the blast explosion speed
3. they consider a significant portion of the maximum potential can be drawn casually and not just specifically for that spell whatever.
4. they consider the magic book as a 100% accurate bible.

By their logic all universe busters should be at least MFTL+ Beerus level because one blast covering a universe should "reasonably" travel with such speed.

Well post-Schrodinger Alucard is only combat ready after eliminatinga his 3.4 mil souls over time and therefore does not have crazy regen by using up part of the 3.4 million souls...
... unless you give him Aoi Hayanose tier immortality (re Schrödinger) where Al can just will himself invincible and immortal and omnipotent. And even then Season 1 Dio can just plant a bud and ask Al to will himself out of existence. And mind-controlling bud is a Season 1 technique.

That said, anyone want to place a matchup with Instant Death? Say any character from SMT or BB or GG or Marvel or DC?

Nicely written

Batman is Forever in DEATH BATTLE! "Gotham City's Caped Crusader is back once again, this time for a blistering battle of the billionaires!"

Iron Man Suits Up for DEATH BATTLE! "Tony Stark returns for a second hostile takeover - one DC industrialist down, another to go!"

eventhough this isnt confirmed or may even not happen.
I want DB to do Rimuru Vs Ainz because they both have decent connections.
Op Isekai MC
Both are Inhuman/monster currently and were salaryman in their past life
Both were unpopular in "real life/previous life"
Both prioritizes their nation and ppl (mostly ainz but rimuru defintely cares)
Both have demons working as their assistant (demiurge and diablo respectively)
Both are loved by their respective nation.

What Tipper said. The official translations weren’t out back then and the only higher stuff besides the world destruction that they refuse to scale to anyone is Galaxy Room scaling but they still don’t wanna use that. At this point the only difference is the world destruction now scales but it’s only planetary stuff.
