The One: The best matchup for the character. Would be hype af if it was announced.
Good Alts: Almost as good, if not equal to The One, the difference sometimes just being personal preference. Nearly equal to The One in hype.
Fine?: Somewhat worse than Good Alts, but still very good matchups. Usually have just a few things holding them back. Would be happy if it was announced.
Eh: Matchups where the connections are there, but either the fight itself dosn't vibe or they're just far worse than higher places. Would neutral if it was announced

S5 is definitely one of the Top Season

Easily the best matchup list depsite the first three episodes being Around Mediocre,Meh and Average/Decent This time though, it had some pretty solid and even unique ideas that really hit the mark. The first full on rematch the show ever did, a hand-drawn episode done on a drunken dare, and their first ever live-action DB all showed a level of ambition that they haven't really matched in a long time.
Not to say it was perfect the research for the most part age like shit for certain fights but overall the season was good

How many bad animation episodes does S2 have? Its the one arguments against it that as big season it technically has a lot of bad episodes, but I'm not sure about that.

Then expect Moon level Miriam for fighting older state Zangetsu when his younger state is Naruto era Naruto level.
And IMO Gunvolt vs Beck or even Miriam vs Beck is better than one may credit to but Beck and Mighty Number Nine is just madness numb nuts so nobody loves it.
Do we take monetary budget and time budget into concern? Season 2 has fewer episodes per year and animation technology expectations are looser, but Screwattack at that time has fewer budgets. So saying Season 2 animations are all worse than nowadays while true is unfair.

Necromorph vs Xenomorph looks cool while The Floods... How does Master Chief fought them they are Samus Aran level or have we forgotten how many stars chief can bust by himself.
Dio vs Alucard will be 151 or 152. If it were 151 the hype will be over way before the Halloween. If it were 152 then there will be weeks to talk over it
