Screw it, here are my favorite Death Battles from an animation perspective.
Ryu vs Jin: The fight is literally perfect. Setting, choreography, music, effects, pacing, its a freakin' masterpiece of 3D animation.
TJ Combo vs Balrog: It's just a straight up boxing match and I love it. It's just two dudes swapping hands. Music is hype, choreography is fantastic, TJ using Last Breath had me pogging.
Vergil vs Sepiroth: Some of the best sword fighting I've even seen in a 3D animation, its fast paced and intense, and after Vergil activates DT its some of the best choreography involving swords. His Judgement Cut End was Chef's Kiss.
Wolverine vs Raiden: This was a badass fight, the mixture of claws and sword was really well done, it was super brutal with a metal af soundtrack.
Dante vs Bayonetta: This is like the longest DB fight and every second of it is gold, especially when the 2v2 starts.
Yang vs Tifa: Unpopular opinion, I think Torrian does better hand to hand fighting than Monty. Both are amazing, but Torrian has always felt more grounded and impactful. That being said Monty is better at everything else. The fight itself basically reinforces my opinion.
Power Rangers vs Voltron: This was such a hype inducing fight, especially the bonkers swordplay where the Megazord outskills Voltron and knocks its sword away. The music had me strokin' my shit.
Hulk vs Doomsday: A super brutal destructive fight, a little short but the choreography after Hulk goes World Breaker makes up for it. Hulk's death was wild.
Meta vs Carolina: The song was super cool, although it felt a bit one-sided in Carolina's favor. The hand to hand was as always awesome.
Might Guy vs All Might: Wholesome Death Battle with good effects, awesome character interactions, and top tier music.

1.Has some neat asethetics but can't say I truly vibe with it
2.Frankly the best way to introduce Fate and Erza could warrant a runback given she gave gotten new material

Late to the party, but I did enjoyed Goku Black vs Reverse Flash. The fight was amazing, entertaining, and I loved how it already spawned memes. RF's face after phasing the ring was priceless. 9/10 episode. I was hoping for merged Zamasu to be included, but overall I'm okay with the episode. How awesome it would've been when RF sent Black to the sun, for the sun to turn into Zamasu's face and start spreading with the universe? Of course it wouldn't make sense, but still....

WWE scaling could be fun. Macho-Man scales to Hogan who scales to Undertaker. So Macho being on equals with those two should put him above any mid cards such as Matt Hardy even after his time.
