The transmutation really 4%&%'4 over eggman, it single handedly beats him basically.


It makes me wonder if this was a sonic series vs Mario series fight would it be different? Would there be an answer to transmutation somewhere? Or would the result be mostly the same?

It feels like DB finally lifted the inhibitors of only marvel ever getting 2-A scaling and are being more generous with the tier 2 ratings now. I kinda like it, still fear the fact that they'll probably scale Godzilla Ultima to universe level and ignore his higher dimensionality despite the point of the series being that he is higher dimensional.

They can do that and say Hulk is multiversal and dump all the real arguments to black boxes because unga bunga Marvel beats it anyways.

Ngl, I do feel like Doom powers amped Shadow as well, and they got rid of them.

Shadow only had three of the five Doom Powers you get in the game, so you could say he was amped but not by a significant amount. But I understand what you mean, though.

And now that time is fitting ig, I do agree Sonic has scaling problem after few years looking at it. IDW feats are significantly worse than Game feat scaling, the disperancy isnt good. If this continues its going to be even worse. Sonic never makes a dent anywhere meanwhile Shadow gets to wallop Metal ******* Overlord lol

Shadow's the Ultimate Lifeform, he's naturally better than Sonic after all.

Just realized that's twice a character voiced by Liam O'Brien (awesome VA btw) has died on DB with Gaara and now Infinite. Technically three times if you wanna include Dr.Strange since Liam has voiced the good doctor in a few games and animated series.

I do like how they had alternate scenarios not only to fit in bits of animation that wouldn't flow well with the main fight but also as a "Hey here's what would've happened if they did this instead" to show outcomes and the counters to different strategies visually as well.

I personally subscribe to the idea that Game Sonic and Goku are relative to each other at their absolute peaks, in terms of strength, speed, and durability. With Goku edging out in terms of battle intelligence and experience while Sonic is a bit more versatile in terms of his abilities, but it's one of those fights where I think it can go to either one.

That's just me though, I'm sure others have their own takes on Goku vs Game Sonic.

The art is really good, (heard accusations he traced shit but I dont know if thats true so take it with a grain of salt), but it's definitely a for Sonic fans comic.
