Someone already quoted it before, saying that it was ''great'' or ''better'' than the one we got, so it got my interest and I wanted to see how it was, and I was incredibly disappointed with what I read, also damn, not the mediocre remixes in the script. So, I wanted to give my opinion of your fanfic

It read like something that was written by someone salty about the results, you complained about Eggman shooting the Death Egg in the original being ''dumb'' because it would destroy the planet and yet you make him do the same thing for the same ''dumb reasons'' and the whole him getting drunk in power and wanting to shoot it again just because it's incredibly stupid, and the whole Bowser's minions making him giant just to make a reference to the Giant Peach Castle fight is some of the most cringiest thing I ever read, especially with Eggman apparently forgetting that he can defend himself of the punch.

The idea of the Death Battle was that Sage was going to fire it in an angle that would just graze the planet. I do agree that Eggman getting drunk on power and wanting to fire the Death Egg again was kinda bad. That was just me forcing a conclusion. I just wanted to highlight Eggman's flaws to fit the episode's logic.

But this was just a random fic I threw out in 20 minutes, there's no reason to get it that twisted about it man. It was just for fun.

Eh...I like what we got from the episode as is (I mean Eggman firing the Death Egg at Bowser's army and Bowser jumping in front of the massive laser to protect his army was absolute peak) as is, but I do agree with User that they could've done a bit more with giving Eggman alone a chance to shine.

I mean he only got to use the Egg Dragoon, which was almost immediately destroyed by Bowser at the start of the fight, and the Death Egg Robot, which didn't even land a single punch. Even though he still would've lost, it'd have been nice for him to trade blows with Bowser with shit like the Egg Wizard, Egg Salamander, or even the Death Egg Robot from Sonic Forces before succumbing to Bowser.

But that's just me, though. Still an amazing episode, just one that I think should've shown that Eggman has the capability of throwing hands without the need of Metal Sonic or Sage.

I am not being defensive. It's just that I enjoyed what I wrote and you just have been very rude towards it for absolute no reason. If you probably had made anything you liked and I just mindlessly shat on it you would've probably been bummed out, too. That's why I appreciated the actual constructive criticism you did.

I called you a Death Battle fan because all I see is you being in these threads is defending Death Battle and attacking Sonic fans, but if you don't like being called that I won't.

Bowser wasn't supposed to protect his army in my script. It's supposed to fire when he's fighting Eggman. Sage stuff isn't "coping", that doesn't even make sense. It was just my intention. This isn't that serious, man. There's no reason to be mad over a "mediocre" fanfic just because someone liked it, just makes you look bitter.

I remember the waiting period for this episode, everyone thinking it was a shit idea to re-do a fight we already knew the result and so on

And then, DB gave us a marvelous masterpiece in almost every shape: Good fight animation, fun analysis and a result with an acceptable reasoning, by far the best surprise the show ever did, in my opinion

I am surprised nobody also came up with Fate Sakura Matou vs Patrick Bateman (Novel)

Main Theme: Psychopathic killers that are infamous for being extremely graphic and twisted in their vengeance against the world and whom talk and dress nicely yet are sadistic and PURE EVIL as they destroy and obliterate the people they kill and they have a sibling whom they hate and even try to kill but cannot (Sean Bateman and Rin Tohsaka) and they also did the hard r word (Bateman in the novel did it to his servant at age 14 iirc and Sakura to Rin after she becomes Dark Sakura) They also resent their fathers on some level that mistreated them and did not treat them as proper children but as tools and both are tragic yet utterly devoid of remorse and are great actors that can fake emotions. Also, they kill a smug and arrogant dude who dresses fancy and they resort to killing them in graphic ways. Also, both stories are mind F's and people question how much Patrick or Sakura actually did the crimes or if they were in distress. (Gilgamesh was eaten by Dark Sakura and Patrick decapacitated Paul Allen with a axe) (No seriously this alone is genuinely better then like 99% of Sakura's MU's and one of Patrick's good alts plus Patrick's victims are women and Patrick resembles Kirei Kotomine who is Sakuras greatest opponent in the VN) Really good if it was not for Lunar Park Bateman who's near-omnipotent and without LP Pat gets stomped easily. So yea actually really good but the stompiness is what stops it from being peak.
