Fun fact: There was a legend about a carp that was about 2 pounds that hit a man that was water skiing in the face. The man was going about 35 mph, so when the carp hit him in the face and his neck snapped from the force, killing him.
This was actually tested on an episode of Mythbusters, and it was found that a 2-pound carp colliding with your face at 35 miles per hour actually can cause fractures in the neck and even internal decapitation.
So yeah, don't water ski with carp around.
Fun fact: The reason Thor swings his hammer to fly in Marvel is because Stan Lee hated the way Superman would fly. He said that Superman had no means of propulsion to allow him to fly that high in the air. So, he had Thor swing Mjolnir before aiming it where he wanted it to go, which would have been a method of propulsion justifying how Thor can fly high and so on.
