Fun fact: While you may be familiar with Michael Jackson being a part of earlier Sonic game soundtracks, there was one game where Malcolm X was sampled for the soundtrack.
In the video game Sonic Rush, the final boss songs, "Wrapped in Black" and "Wrapped in Black (Part 2)", featured a voice saying "too black, too strong", with the voice clip being sampled from the quote Malcolm X made when using black coffee and cream as an analogy for black people and white people respectively. The composer, Hideki Naganuma, had intended for the boss theme to be about coffee, and so sampled this quote for the song.
Whether or not he knew the context doesn't matter to me, either. The songs are absolute bangers. Seriously, check 'em out!
