So far on here, Space Battles and on the DB reddit the discussion mostly boils down to:
AP: Maka
Durability: Maka
Speed: Arguable and mostly 50/50.
Experience: Arguable, slightly leaning towards Ruby mainly from her series lasting over a longer period of time. There's debate to be had over the quality of experience had but that's super nitty-gritty splitting hairs territory.
Hax/Abilities: Maka
Weapons: I feel this one is also kinda arguable. Crescent Rose has its dust bullets which are neat, but Soul is not only a whole other person fighting alongside Maka but has his own abilities that he brings to the fight.
Weekly has his own opinions about this (perfectly reasonable not everyone needs to be a hivemind) but it's definitely heavily leaned in Maka's favor from a vast majority of people looking at it.

Speaking as a complete outsider, but looking around a bit to what the whole deal is about, I really get the impression that while One wants to write a spoof of action shonen with superheroes, Murata just wants to write a straight up by the numbers fighting shonen, while also really buying into the hype of Saitama being overpowered so he comes with over the top abilities, almost nonsensical abilities (I mean, the setting is almost entirely on Earth, there are no mentions of any sort of cosmology, and suddenly we, temporarily, have hyperspace and infinite parallel words so that the ninja dude gets a broken ability?), massive scale battles, keeps building up that god guy as the end of all villiains, etc. The retcons kinda feel like a tug o war between the two different visions.

Speaking of RWBY, what’s the consensus on Azula vs Cinder? I’ve heard the false Fire Lord actually has a shot at beating Cinder even with the maiden powers.

idk the researchers lean towards azula in that fight but idk if that would hold in the epi if they ever do it
prob cinder in a general debate but prob depends on where put both at stats

Yeah, that's what I've seen as well. Even with how inconsistent Cinder is portrayed in the fights I feel like she'd be able to take it in the long run. Cinder has better movement, better speed (travelling and reaction) a wider range of abilities and her Aura to give her a pretty dang big durability advantage as well. Azula would most likely have better hand-to-hand training and... I suppose mental stability???

Personally I think Cinder beats Azula based off the things I've seen from her and Azula: higher stats (strength, speed, durability, etc), greater versatility due to her Maiden powers, and I don't think that Azula's ability to talk would mean nothing since Cinder has no personal vendetta against Azula and would just kill her as soon as possible.
That's just my take, and I've heard that Azula does have some arguments that put her higher then Cinder, but I think Cinder generally wins overall.

I'm willing to grant that Cinder might take skill since she was trained by a huntsman (not raised well, but at least trained, though that's another story...)and is older than Azula.
But Cinder being the stable one? That's a laugh. Yes, Azula was crashing out hard near the end of the show, but at that point everything was basically falling apart around her. Cinder has only gotten more petulant over time, whether she's winning or not, though maybe that's just a side effect of losing her aura (figuratively speaking).
That said, yeah Cinder takes the stat trinity. Even if you scale the Avatar state higher, it's hard to argue Azula comparing to that.

The winter maiden, for someone who's supposedly a RWBY expert you sure as hell forgot who the maidens are. Also it barely being a fight doesn't help Cinder, in fact it makes it even worse that she got folded that badly in terms of keeping her aura.

Its not that i forgot her its that it literally wasnt a fight, it was just Fria flexing her power and then transferring them to Penny.
Azula being triggered by an old lady without her even attacking feels even worse imo, something something 'one hair out of place'.

So how accurate would we say this is? Not just who wins but how the powers interact in certain ways. (The creator also said there would be a Part 3 so it’s not technically over yet.)

But as someone who has very little knowledge on Naruto, can Genjutsu work on someone who's an order of magnitude stronger than you? Also as lame as it would be, I don't think Itachi has the same 'soul seeing' powers as Naruto and Madara did, so he might not even know Byakuya was there.
