Saying "this is hyperbole" with literally no elaboration is not an argument, it's not "taking it beyond face value", it's nothing more than hand-waving the statement away without proof, it's LESS than "taking it at face value", you're not "taking" the statement AT ALL lol.Unless you get further evidence, i don't see reason to take many of those statements at face value.
Especially with stuff like Raoh “destroy Heaven” assuming that it isn't a metaphor and that he does refer to the actual physical universe.
Personally (based on what i know about the First of the North Star's series) the scaling of Kenshiro was very accurate.
Like for the heaven destroying statement the rebuttal is verbatim "Not much to comment on the destroying Heaven part outside of the fact the usage of hyperbole here is extremely clear". Like, how is it "clearly an hyperbole"? I swear people think HNK characters (and guidebooks) go from martial artists to philosophers whenever they start talking about each other's powers. How is Tenha Kossatsu's WHOLE NARRATIVE being that it has the power to destroy the universe "hyperbole"? Why would an a-personal guidebook use hyperbole? Not to mention all the other stuff, but that's beside the point.
I'm not even saying you have to agree with the higher scaling or that it's bomb-proof, but these rebutals in particular stink, they barely even classify as rebutals at all because they don't engage with the argument in the first place.
