DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

It isn't even that.
Cynthia's Garchomp, in base, clashed with Palkia's Spatial Rend.
Ash scales to Champion Level trainers, Cynthia included, including defeating Cynthia's Mega Garchomp, which in theory, should be stronger than what matched Palkia's attack. He also beat Leon, who is supposedly stronger than Cynthia; Leon is the strongest Champion & all. (Gosh I hate that that's a thing, & Cynthia might not even be my favorite champion.)
He's also had a couple adventures where he fought with her. IIRC, one episode included them battling some Unown that made mirroring copies of their Pokemon, including Cynthia's Garchomp. (But I can't recall if Ash's Pokemon fought it.)
Also, we have Ash as having "higher with Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, or Dynamax".
Yugi's gotta get pretty high, higher than just having the universe-creating deity fusion of the 3 Egyptian Gods to beat Ash.

From what I remember: Sonic's true name in the Archie Sonic continuity is Maurice, a name that he absolutely hates and changes it to Sonic.
At least that's what I remember.

I don't think that's his full name even in the comics, I think it's played off as a joke rather than his actual name. I've seen someone post full panels of that.

Correction: Maurice is Sonic's middle name, though he changed it to "Speed" due to disliking the name Maurice based off the quick Google research I did.

Hmm doing a recap on IMO for Kratos vs Asura:
Kratos
+Arguments for being stronger via affecting spacetime and beyond
+Weapons and abilities work and counter Asura's abilities
+More skilled and tactical
+Still has some regen, magic & resurrection to have good survivability even if inferior
=Reaction speeds equal
=Have defeated far more experienced beings
=Have crazy power increases over time
-Inferior movement speeds
-Huge disadvantage if Asura plays zoner as a giant
Asura
+Likely still able to hurt and kill Kratos
+Planetery size gives massive range advantage
+Far better regen/healing
=Reaction speeds equal
=Have defeated far more experienced beings
=Have crazy power increases over time
-Prefers rushdown attacking style, putting him at risk
-Powers can be nullified
Despite Kratos having 4D+ arguments for AP, I feel like Asura could style beat him up if he had a chance and he unironically has easy thing for that if he stayed giant and just outzones him. Unfortunately Asura prefers melee beating, which leaves him at far bigger risk of being affected by Kratos' power, so more often than not Kratos could manage to beat Asura.

This blog will not be using ANY material from the Chinese Devil May Cry mobile game called Peak of Combat. In late 2023, it was discovered that nearly all scans and several recordings for the game that were on the prior Dante vs Bayonetta blog were faked by a group of individuals. This ruse lasted nearly 2 years, as the perpetrators were able to cover their tracks by mixing real scans with the fake ones and even went as far as faking live stream footage of the game.
