King vs Sanji Rematch 2

I think that Sanji could win, but the vast majority of the time King will take him down first thanks to his sheer AP/durability advantage.

Someone please remind me what Sanji's win-cons are?
Kenbun, speed, endurance, stamina, heat, heat resistance, regeneration, skill, intelligence, tactical ability.

He can pair his kenbun and speed in order to avoid any hit that would deal major damage such as the Self Destruct.
If he were to take those hits, his endurance, stamina, and regeneration would kick in, allowing him to keep going despite taking heavy damage
His heat and heat resistance would allow him to avoid getting burned by King's heat-based attacks and would allow him to negate King's durability with Ifrit
His skill and tactical ability would allow him to quickly find out King's Lunarian Gimmick, allowing him to exploit him and hit King when and where it hurts.

Though I don't think it'd work if King sliced him with Tempura Udon.
It would turn into a blunt force hit due to Sanji's body, denting him rather than cutting him

Which Sanji can regenerate from.

Mind-you, this is all assuming these hit Sanji.

Ah, I forgot about his regen.

Eh, it could.

Thank you.

But could he force King to lower the flames?

All I know is King has superior AP, Durability, flight, and Armament.
Sanji has better flames, Observation, and uh..

Sanji: hotter flames + better flame resistance, intelligence(tactical and deductive), endurance and stamina feats, debatably speed, obv haki, regen, better drip

King: Likely better Arm Haki, better LS, Lunarian Durability, higher AP.

But could he force King to lower the flames?
With Sanji's speed, 100%

Don't forget, this is an in-character match. King is not like the Seraphim who just don't lower the flames.

When King sees that he's outmatched in speed, he would lower his flames to try to catch up, which would only benefit Sanji.

It should also be noted that this was stated about Sanji in the One Piece Yellow Databook:

"When he sees that his opponent is "tough," he immediately thinks of a countermeasure with a flash of inspiration and immediately executes it. One moment of inspiration, two moments of brilliance, and then it's immediate!"

Sanji exploiting King's weakness is much more likely than King overcoming Sanji's endurance, stamina, and regen without having access to his normal wincons in Heat and Durability (Ifrit heat outscales King's heat resistance)

Can't King just block IJ with his sword or use Armament?

As for King's sword, if he tries to block Ifrit, he may just end up like Pedro:

Can you not compare Oven and Pedro of all people to King and Sanji?
Pedro doesn't even have Armament iirc.
This isn't like King using his superior Armament + sword to block IJ.
You're missing the point.

Because of Ifrit Jambe's fire, the heat would just go through the sword to King.

Pedro has 0 Haki feats. He's not relevant.
Though considering King already has a high heat resistance plus superior Armament he should be able to nullify IJ.

Jinbe, who has higher Busō layers than Sanji, couldn't block out the heat from Prometheus.

Prometheus scales much lower than Sanji's heat with Ifrit, so the haki argument isn't going anywhere.

Also, I will add for Exoskeleton Sanji that S-Shark intimidated Base Kaku and Stussy in 1070 who viewed him and the other Seraphim as terrifying, so Exoskeleton Sanji's durability >> S-shark'S AP >= Base Kaku and Base Stussy.

Base Kaku and Stussy have no scaling, dude.
Also Sanji's AP < S-Shark's dura lol
