"Pokémon Legends: Arceus" Discussion Thread (SPOILERS)

Arceus has a surprising variety of moves, and uses powers from Dialga, Palkia and Giratina, such as Judgement Cut (aka Spacial Rend).

I wanna find the Japanese text. Apparently other text dumps in other languages exist so I'm trying to find it to see if that version could have possible upgrades

Right off the bat the original Japanese quote doesn't seem to even say "beyond time and space" it just says "my space" but I could be wrong. If true that's disappointing

And give me the quote. My japanese is garbage as I'm only learning stuff now and i only know the basics but i can differentiate a 宇宙 from a ぼく

ここは じかんもくうかんもこえた わたしのうちゅう
よくきてくれました
わたしはアルセウス あなたたち ひとがそうよぶもの
あなたのかおを よくみせてください
なんとよびましょう

I don't think it helps but the official spanish translation of that line is "I welcome you to my world, where time and space lose all meaning".
Arceus also confirms later the "beyond time and space" thing.

Here's what i got
"This is my home, beyond time and space. Thank you for coming. I am Arceus, or as you people call me Please let me see your face. What should I call you?"

I've checked the Japanese text, both versions. The only mention of infinite is infinite space.

As for the above word, that only appears is in the intro where Arceus says it's home is beyond Time and Space. Their is near zero chance that any other staff will accept an upgrade based solely on this.

Anyways i've a question to all yall...

Is the game worth it?
The million (or, at least 60) dollar question.

I didn't get BDSP, but I've been pleasantly surprised with what I've seen so far with legends. So I'll probably get it at some point.

You can challenge Dialga, Palkia and Arceus as many times as you want, even if you already have them in your team.

You receive a message on the Arceus' phone about "showing your might again".

The Japanese text night say something that supports omnipresent Arceus more at least. It says something like being everywhere and not everywhere and then says it can _(something, but I think it has to do with sight or being with) Pokemon and humans in all universes or something like that

Anyways at least we got more support for 2-A and the High 3-A Pokemon I guess? More consistency and direct statements to support the tiers which other people not from the site felt were vague and iffy before.

Those forms are specifically made to mimic arceus, and i'm pretty sure we never saw their birth in the games.

Probably not yet, they are kind building it up though but the closest thing for tier 1 is a poem about arceus creating the world via being aware of it, from what i understand, you could argue it means the world is on his imagination but i'd wait until the game is out since dialogue and lore could be way bigger
Thank you for the reply

Meanwhile, I'm worrying about how this new showing of Arceus's behaviour in combat will influence it in Versus Threads.

Of course, whether it's an Avatar or not (Why would or would not it be? IDK.), it was testing a 15-year old human that it liked & saw potential in, & eventually decided "Yes, I do want to have a piece of myself spend time seeing the world through their eyes.", so it probably was holding back, if not because humans are frail, then out of fondness.

Still, if nothing else, we now have an idea of what it leads with when holding back, right?

It was using all kinds of moves and spams them. It even uses a form of Phantom Force where it breaks through reality in a charge at you and one that looks like it could be Special Rend potentially but omnidirectional

So I've seen the fight with Arceus and I just wanna say...

The protagonist wouldn't be able to dodge a lion like they dodged Arceus

I wonder if the ArceusLegend game is coming to Android to....
There's a bigger chance of you winning the lottery than there is of Legends Arceus coming to Android tbh.

I wonder what Arceus' time move is. I've seen him take from Giratina and Palkia but haven't seen a Dialga move in the fight yet

Aw hell naw why he talking like Shakespeare
The protagonist might be in the future, but the game still takes place in the past. Probably by a century or so.
Plus, Arceus predates the universe, & has some respect for the protagonist & probably doesn't need to communicate with humans in their language that often, so maybe it just speaks in a very formal & antiquated fashion naturally.
