"Pokémon Legends: Arceus" Discussion Thread (SPOILERS)

So i talked to some friends on discord about arceus there.

If arceus truly has multiple phases, is possible that his final form is his true self, and it could be beta arceus, since prople seemed to love it.

My reasonings are: his boss theme sounds glitchy like there is some bad stuff happening on the field, his fight on the remakes was on a spacetime vortex thingy and most importantly, the creation trio are pretty well defined as being one with their dimensions, and arceus' had his beta self colors after he woke up, there was more red sure but he was angry.

So is possible that, on the final phase, his physical self dissipates and a reality rift appears and his dimension leaks to the physical world, until it is fully there and forms beta arceus.

And if that legend plate is his item, maybe it would allow arceus to become it's true self.
Does this make sense to any of you?

Personally, I am VERY intrigued about Arceus transcending nothingness. Depending on at what level it transcends nothingness, it can mean anything from "Freely interact with NEP" to "Can be bumped to one of the VERY big tiers.", as far as I'm aware.
But Low 1-C is definitely starting to look likely. Or, at a bare minimum, "ridiculously above 3x baseline 2-A".

Everything so far makes ot seem like Arceus is Pokémon Yog Sothoth or Azathoth. The world exists as part of its imagination, it is a part of everything and nothing. All I need is the original Japanese to say Infinite instead of innumerable. Let's gooooo

Wait, are they accepted as above baseline besides scaling?

Don't think so. But AFAIK, 1 CT = 3 LT = 3 separate Baseline. Shouldn't that mean 1 CT = Baseline x3?
there was a dumb standard added that you need to prove that there is a distance between the two multiverses for it to be above baseline

"What's so strange about them, you ask? Well, each and every Pokémon is able to shrink itself down to miniscule size!
And that's where Poké Balls come in! Poké Balls are a recent invention, you see. Throw one at a Pokémon, and...
why, the Pokémon will shrink down and fit inside the ball, comfy as can be. And with that, you've caught a Pokémon!"

Size Manipulation for all pokémon :^)

These are the first pokéballs, I guess the light thing is something exclusive to the pokeballs from the future (present).

"You'll recall, of course, the Pokémon possess the odd power to shrink themselves down. With the PokéBalls we craft, we can make use of the power to catch them!"

Where was the Poké Balls turning them into light this mentioned. (Keep in mind the Legends Arceus is a main series game made by Game Freak so it's Primary canon that trumps all)

We are in the future, aren’t we? One of the leaks said Legends takes place in the future, not the past.
No we are from the future of BDSP however we were sent to the past of Sinnoh
Where we were sent back in time-->Legends Plot----->BDSP plot-->the time we are originally from

It's weird to me that Arceus says to the protag that this world they're being sent to will be unfamiliar to them and clarifies it's full of creatures humans call pokémon, as if the protag has never heard of them before.

But wouldn't these protags just be avatars created by The Player and not be an actual Dawn and Lucas we've seen before then?
If they are from the future of BD/SP, & distinct from "Dawn"/"Lucas"....
How old are Lucas/Dawn in BD/SP anyway? PLA's are stated to appear to be about 15 (Exact wording may matter.), right?

So:
A. They're older, post-adventure Dawn/Lucas. (Is there any evidence of them lacking experience? Other evidence to contradict this possibility?)
B. They're older because they were born before Dawn/Lucas, & are someone unrelated, but are still from the world of Pokemon.
C. They're a created individual. Arceus magic or something?

Lol Arceus can speak to The Player therefore that's totally an established viewing reality as fiction scenario
Or they're speaking to The Player Character, rather than us. How do we know the recipient of the messages is the character being isekai'd rather than the The Real World human playing a video game?

Or, hear me out:
He has a Power called 4th Wall Breaking. Speaking to the player doesn’t mean you see the world as fiction, or at least not in the way that’d make you tier 1. If it did, we’d have a lot more tier 1 characters lmao

A. Apparently they have amnesia and we clearly see Arceus say that the world and creatures will be unfamiliar to them.

B. If this is the case then it's not stated anywhere in the game. They just randomly appear because of Arceus.

C. The intro would probably support this. He asks you to specify what your appearance and name is before you see the chosen option show up in his void which he then sends off. May even be implications he created a world specifically for you I'd need to check again.

No duh. I was just joking. We have other reasons anyways that can support really fiction or whatever

Though a certain verse relies on The Player canonically existing which I think is pretty bull.

This is also a possibility.
If I can be forgiven for asking, what is the exact dialogue between Arceus & the player character?
Let's Go opens with a human entering A TV into "the Pokemon world"
Apologies, but scans, please?

Thank you very much for this clarification & information!

I think we should pay careful attention to NPC dialogue A, in the event that other NPC Dialogue brings up the possibility that The Player Character/The Trainer/Dawn/Lucas has lost memories.
Of course, for me, that's more difficult, because I lack the means to play Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Also interesting is that Arceus kinda asks you to show him what you perceive the part of himself he gives to you as, which I'm guessing is the llama god form?

I suppose this means his true form is incomprehensible to humans. Again, not necessarily new info but it's actual confirmation
