Following. They seem to be showing Arceus more respect than most media, which is good.

Arceus implies that "Arceus" is only the name by which humans decided to call it, not its "real" name.

Somethings to remember
The use of "Original One" and "Original Spirit" are terms exclusive to the localizations and aren't a thing in the Japanese material.

There was a single time Arceus was called "The First" and all other times they simply referred to Arceus as "It' or "Heart" without even making a difference between it and what the Lake Trio binds the humans and Pokémon with. For some reason the localization decided to call all those instances of "Original One" and that kinda of breaks a bit of nuance of what the "Heart" is

Also, in the Japanese material Dialga and Palkia are called "Arceus' Alter Ego/Bunshin".

The process of Bunshin and Bunrei can be described as a large candle representing a god sharing its flame with other ones creating new gods that are part of it.

In Shinto this process is also used for when a main Temple is used as the basis for its "branches", in this case the main Temple contains the main divinity and the branches contains the alter egos of that divinity.

As such the "Almighty Sinnoh" being either Dialga or Palkia depending on the group ? That is most likely a big reference to what the two are called in the Japanese material and used to its most logical conclusion in a religious setting.

Most of this is completely lost in translation and I wonder if Legends Arceus will use any specific wording about that and if the localization changed.

Considering the position in the pokedex of the new forms of Dialga and Palkia, everything points to the fact that these forms are origin forms like the one of Giratina
(Giratina and Arceus didn't get any new form).

Maybe forms of Dialga and Palkia that you'd find in their respective dimensions?

Dialga's new form is quite bizarre, but I honestly like it.
Not a big fan of Palkia's new form.

I like that Dialga and Palkia's new forms look a bit like Arceus, it's consistent with what Executor mentioned above.

Palkia needs some arms or even shoulders to go with those shoulder pads.
It's like Arceus decided "You need some protection for your huge neck. Here's some gigantic pinball bumpers."
& then Palkia asked what Pinball is, because that hadn't been invented yet at the beginning of time.

Dialga looks really weird, but not too bad. Palkia is a sleep paralysis demon.

Dialga looks fine as a mega, wtf happened to palkia, even they look dissapointed at their new look

One thing i always liked about palkia was them having a more, huh, anthro body, eith arms and stuff, made him look different and allow him to use space rend with a karate chop.

Ganefreak disappointing us yet again.

Has anyone else seen long leg sneasel and that one flower pokemon?

Though tbh i heard that this is their fusion with arceus which would make sense as arceus is a llama
