Stronger then "Has dark skin and controls some kind of elements"
  • The connections between Korra and Storm are that they are heroic and respected women of color (the Water Tribe is comparable to real life Inuits and Storm is of African heritage) who can manipulate the environment (Korra can bend the elements and Storm can control the weather) and can do so to a more impressive degree than others in their world (Korra is the Avatar and Storm is an Omega Level Mutant). Both are part of a global minority born with special abilities that face discrimination by regular humans out of fear of their power (Benders and Mutants, respectively), set out to unite the two, and have been romantically involved with rich individuals at some point (Korra is dating Asami Sato and Storm was married to Black Panther).

Alot of words for "Dark Skinned chick who has element manipulation, is strong, is feared for said strength and dated a rich person"
Also where did you get the idea that Benders are the minority in the world, honestly do you have any evidence of that.

I mean the Fire Nation went out of their way to capture ALL the Earth Benders they could find where they had conquered the Earth Kingdom (Which was most of it IIRC) and the prison wasn't too terribly big compared to the size of a normal Fire Nation prison.

I really doubt the Prison rig held all the earth bender prisoners that were captured, and a large amount of benders were still active across the continent.

Can you stop deliberately dismissing it? Like yeah, I didn't like the MU at first either (and to a small extent, I still don't), but it's at least something.

Seriously, rn who does John egbert has? I heard frisk but i fail to see the connections
I can give connections
Undertale takes inspiration from Homestuck and both take inspiration from Earthbound.
They both have Reset powers that only really work with their mediums (Johns in narrative/webcomics and Frisk with Video Games).
Both of their properties push the boundaries of what their mediums can do (web literature and video games respectively).

The only problem is that John is 1-A and Undertale has been downgraded to 2-C so it's so much of a stomp it's not even funny. Here's hoping Deltarune introduces a complex multiverse with string-theory and platonic ideals then we can have some equal footing.

Most of those connections are super facial at best aside from maybe the "discrimination" and "dated rich people" one (which in itself is kinda debatable, for the discrimination point the rasims faced by X-men can't really be compared reasonablely and for the "dated rich people" it is true T'Challa may be considered a insanely wealthy because of the vibranium deposits he owns but his country are isolationist and for the most part avoid international trade, so the kind of wealth is really different but still for the sake of argument I'll give you a little of that). The rest are extremely surface level and could apply to thousands of characters with vastly different personalities and motives.

Also I'm told that was only a multi-galaxy level explosion, not an actual big bang.
That's imperiex big bang stated could destroy their universe by lex a 12D and a third.

Plus this wiki likes saying outlier and consistent ways to scale characters but DB lists feats characters achieve that's all.
Except we've seen feats that are provably out of context, such as Hal beating Ion.
That wasn't out of context krona was indeed in control of all emotional spectrum and can you tell me how it's out of context.

Our own Hal profile says:
When Hal Jordan killed Krona in Green Lantern Vol 4 #67, Krona may have been wearing multiple rings, but the 7 Emotional entities were still possessing the other Guardians. Killing Krona wouldn't scale to the entities.

I'm interested, go ahead
I must warn you, there's ton of text.
"Both are from an internet based series (Homestucks a Web-Comic and Indie Game) that was extremely influential and wide-spread during it's peak, that also basically took the standard definition of their type of series (web comic and RPG) and basically threw most of the standards out the window in favor of going out of the box(Undertale allowing you to spare and Homestuck... being Homestuck and basically breaking any conventions people had for Web-Comics) Boths series implement RPG mechanics шnto being part of the lore with LVL's EXP and Save Points being a factual part of Frisk and Undertales Lore, while Sburb(the game the homestuck cast plays) is basically a RPG with fraymotifs(combo attacks involving aspect) and echeladder(levels) being established parts of lore, both are the protagonist of their series(kinda easy but still), Both Frisk and John are connected to a specific piece of a set that basically shape what abilities you have(Frisk is a DETERMINED soul, John is a BREATH player), and both Determination and Breath have a connection to freedom and choosing your own path "The will to keep living... The resolve to change fate. Let's call this power... "Determination.""(Undertales description of Determination)" Those bound to the aspect of Breath are, above all, expansive. Flexible and driven," and "Often, heroism comes along as an offshoot of them pursuing their own personal stories."(Both being descriptions about Breath from an offical Homestuck website) Both Frisk and John end up having the most overpowered and story defining ability that only they can use, which funnily enough both have a connection to "Time"(Resets allowing Frisk to go back in time to make things go their way and Retcons allowing John to go anywhere in space-time to change Causality) Both Frisk and John had opposite experiences with family over of the course of their adventures, in the Pacifist timeline, Frisk basically got adopted by Toriel, while John had to witness the corpse of his father during his adventures in Sburb at the end of their 'everyone dies' timeline(Genocide route and Game Over), both are influenced by the only person who never left their side(Chara being connected to Frisk influences them, and Terezi, despite them ****** dying they managed to get their memories in the new Terezis mind) to do something, which had opposite results, John going back in time with the Retcon powers to create a new good timeline, and Frisk just ending existence as we know it. and to top it off, technically both encounter monsters in their series that seem like they're threatening them(Undertales Monsters and Homestucks Trolls), who end up actually being friendly, if not eccentric and chaotic. Overall, quite thematic if I don't say so myself!"

The Game Awards is here

Theoretical peak feats are fun in concept, but if they are used as unironic examples of canon performance, it just feels dumb.

Haggar is not Teraton level lol wait wouldn't he beat Zangief with that

Non canon game, its from a non sensical super (he flies in space after piledriving the opponent through Earth and gets back on it) and its not even consistent with the power levels of the characters, hell this obe would be above even the god tiers feats

Well obviously, but like, they used that unironically.

Zangief doesn't have feats like that, right? He doesn't scale to anyone at that level, right?

So isn't Haggar vs Zangief wrong with their logic?

Our rules for scaling don't magically mean other Green Lanterns were or weren't there.
No but it does mean that people can easily discard feats by using headcanon.
IMO I think we need a blog for Marvel/DC feats that have been deemed invalid for some reason or another just to make this sort of thing easier to figure out, and to stop the spread of misconception.
Maybe, but chances are that a lot of people will disagree with the supposed reasons for deeming certain feats invalid.

They didnt have characters from SF in Zangief league recently to say how strong those characters are

Also its early DB, which are mostly outdated af

Also haggar would be like scaling from characters that zangief would too theoretically

Damn that’s the coolest image of an enraged Supes I’ve ever seen

From what I’ve seen the E. Honda feat is widely considered to be unreliable, honestly wasn’t expecting DB to use it.

The emotional entities were still possessing the other guardians and do you know who made that so? Krona. You can read the comics and see for yourself that he was indeed in control of ion and the other entities despite the entities not being inside of him.

I had a debate on firestorm on this when it's stated krona tamed the entities but he said we don't know how he did so, so scaling krona to them would be wonky.

That supes pic can be useful in a lot of dialogs...

With the exception of some platforms that think they know their shit when they dont and are idiots
TBF E Honda thingy is expected by me myself (who actually made the calc) to be reasonably 830,547.49 ton TNT (Large Town+) - assuming this is not an outlier, and not a specific combo move and inapplicable elsewhere.

Ah yes, the 1A helicopter blades, just as powerful as Marvel's police officers, and almost as powerful as the Thanoscopter.
What about the steel chain from a thug?

Anime isn't out. They'd want footage of the anime to play during the analysis and Weather's JJBA: All Star Battle moveset is hardly enough.
Does it mean we can save it for Nami vs Domenico Pucci? :p

If Arya stark can get in after got horrible ending then I’m holding out for jojo
Speaking of Arya Stark, we have had Arya Stark vs Katniss Everdeen as a Community Death Battle before. Hope it is not switched to Katniss Everdeen vs Gi-hun Seong for whatever reason.

Wasnt it accepted here at 7-A or what not?
That thing was discarded altogether.
The 7-A thing comes from M Bison who defeated Ryu and used his remaining Satsui no Hado to nuke Bangkok.

Oh

Google has announced that it will invest A$1bn ($740m, £550m) in Australia over the next five years.

DBW fans find it weird... Avatar theme was playing at the end tho.
Damn bro and sis, clearly Batman must’ve beaten Iron Man because Batman’s theme played at the end of Suit Yourself. Also the G1 bloggers have chosen Batman until one jumps ship.
