Just use the movement/timeframe and compare it to how much she moved (by using body height or something)

You can either use the small bursts of movements or use a long distanced movement 🤔

Tho it mostly depends what scene you use and if you gonna use the whole scene or something in the scene 🐵 (she isn’t using a constant speed and has to accelerate and stuff)

I'd like to ask, would this be flawed? As it'd assume that the verses calculations are 100 percent correct and hold no flaws, I mean, there's a certain unpredictability about all feats/calcs right? Wouldn't it be better to scrap something like this and go only off of feats and or statements? Just wanted to confirm, to better my understanding of the power scaling on this site.

Also, putting the cork on a verses scaling without author statements or feats would be flawed right? If not is there any reason why? Just wondering, was researching a verse I previously visited and thought people might say the things above, so I wanted to get confirmation from you so my efforts wont be in vain.

I didn't even know you're not allowed to message certain CGMs tbh, but assuming I'm not one of them...

Statements are one thing, but for feats... I mean, we have to calculate them. If we're not doing that, we're just eyeballing it, which is even less reliable. That's not to say calcs are 100% flawless, but in a sea of unreliable methods, they're by far the most reliable means of gauging feats we have available to us.

As for the last part (the "putting the cork on a verse's scaling" part), I'm honestly not sure what you mean here. Could you elaborate further?

Like, not allowing a verse to scale higher then a certain tier because calculations are consistently in a tier/multiple tiers below it.

Would making/stating a downgrade on the basis of calcs for that verse being only consistent within a lower tier be allowed? (The outlier page is sort of vague).

Well like with a lot of things, it largely depends on the verse. It's really hard to come up with a sort of "one size fits all" rule on anything because there's pretty much always going to be exceptions, which is why we tend to prefer a case-by-case approach.

For instance, while you could potentially do this, there's also always the potential that the verse itself has good reasoning as to why a much higher tier of scaling is still valid (which would generally be something the supporters know).
