Bleach Bankai General Discussion 12

It amazed me that we both made one with Yhwach stabbing the Soul King, and mine has kind of a comical inderect message to your thread even when mind was posted first. Lol You press next to "Quote" the "more" button and select "Remove" on it.

by what I've seen so far in the novel, with this it is proved once and for all, that the yhwach is planet level

Continuing on from the last thread

- Nothing at all suggests hueco mundo is planet sized\

As for the hollow, the "world before the birth of hueco mundo" is referring to the world before the hollow was formed, same as the world that existed before the earth and SS were formed, none of that is relevant to hueco mundo's size

It doesn't say it "turned into a world of reishi" it says it turns into sands of reishi, the world became still is referring to the circulation too

I can see more planet level proof coming from the novel but this isn't it.

You do realize that isn't the main evidence right? that's just something the soul king casually did which is why all that sand is in Hueco Mundo.

"World of Reishi" doesn't matter as well, Hueco Mundo is a desert and everything in all the realms besides Human world is composed of only reishi, so it states he one shotted the menos large enough that all the sand in that dimension is virtually from that single menos.

and by the looks of it, the present hell was paradise, the SS, Hollow world, Dangai, world of the living, were created with the power of Soul king, with Almighty .... I can though, we need more content about it ...

Tata sounds as someone who doesn't understand Reishi composition of Soul Society and Hueco Mundo.

The first Menos became the sands of Reishi which means 1 of 2 things:

1) It's body became Hueco Mundo, a world of sand that is composed of Reishi.

2) It's body became both Hueco Mundo and Soul Society, worlds composed of only Reishi.

This first Menos was the introduction of Reishi per Ichibei's words.

Also, there is no debate on Hueco Mundo's size, it's already confirmed to be at least planet sized per the Bleach cosmology of Soul Society, The World of the Living and Hueco Mundo being reflections of one another.

Considering the entire excerpt is referring to the creation of hueco mundo, it's the former clearly

Also literally nowhere is Hueco mundo stated or implied to be planet sized, it isn't a reflection of SS or earth, SS and Earth are reflections of one another simply due to being two sides of the same coin, two sides, not three, hueco mundo isn't a part of the cycle of reincarnation.

And all the sand in HM still doesn't make it planet level does it? I'm aware this isn't a main feat, just saying it's not a feat at all.

Having the power to reduce a soul to sand and cover a whole world with it isn't a feat? SAND TSUNAMI! toward the opponent. Lol

SS and The World of the Living are two sides of the same coin solely due to the reincarnation cycle. However, they aren't physically connected like two sides of a coi, Hueco Mundo and The World of the Living are.

They physically are two sides of a coin, thematically they aren't which is what SS and The World of the Living are.

Hueco Mundo is a world of endless sand as described in the manga and the databooks. The only non-sand things in it are the crystal trees, Las Noches and the Nergal Ruins that were made by humans after the Soul King was made. All made of Reishi.

I've missed a lot. I'm just going to look through the last thread...

Also, is it true that Tokinada has the abilities of all Zanpakutou, and that Ichigo's role in the series has been set in stone all this time?

Yes

After reading the quotes, I'd like to say I can be put down for those in support of the prospective buffs for the Soul King and others based on what I've seen. And I remember someone being rated at 5-A for threatening a planet sized dimension with a moon, so I feel as if it's not out of the question. But 5-B at least is good for me.

For the Soul King turning the Menos into sand, could that be counted as transmutation?
Maybe? it does say he has countless abilities pretty much, although he killed it 1st and then turned it into sands of reishi.

"But before long, Hollows began devouring humans. And so, the circulation ceased. All those souls came together to form a gigantic Hollow, a Menos. The world became completely still. But you know, it's a strange thing. A new life came into being. As if the world itself naturally rejected it, he destroyed it and turned it into sands of reishi; thus, circulation began once again."

I don't see why they would be that specific, there was only 1 world and Hell which is described as pretty much a pit in the ground. Soul Society, Human World (Material World), and Hueco Mundo were all created with the power of The Almighty. Hell is pretty much the only thing left of the original world from what we know so far.

We also know the Soul King willingly allowed himself to be sealed by the 5 ancestors, but eventually he was pretty much betrayed and stripped of all his powers via mutilation. starting with his arms Mimihagi (hand of stagnation and the protector of the world), Pernida (hand of progression with the power to restore the world).

"But the Tsunayashiro ancestor doubted even this non-resistance. Afraid of the Rei-o escaping from his seal by himself; he neither wanted the Rei-o to live nor did he want to kill him. Continuing this helix of contradictions, the Right Arm of 'stagnation' and the Left Arm of 'Progress' were torn off."

The recruits drew in sharp breaths. The four members of the Zero Division, except for the monk, had unfathomable expressions on their faces; but they remained silent.

The monk then stated a cruel fact in a flat tone as if he was talking about the weather.

"Well; I suppose that still wasn't enough. The ancestors; including Tsunayashiro; gouged out his heart and internal organs; and dismembered both his legs. Doing so, they destroyed his power; creating a king convenient for themselves."

I really like the parallel that the first Shiba head was against the Tsunayashiro head stripping the powers from the first Soul King and they even wanted to offer themselves up as the lynchpin instead of mutilating the Soul King.

Then we see that Ichigo, a future Shiba, was going to potentially become the lynchpin in order to save the worlds.

I feel so bad for this guy.
The Soul King would actually make a really good sympathetic villain.
It's funny because he is both a villian (devil) and savior (messiah).

At least now we know why when Yhwach absorbed him all those black creatures attempted to destory seireitei. Soul King is prob lowkey bloodlusted, and to think he had that much power left in him after pretty much being reduced to a powerless shell of his former self.

Theory time. What if the countless powers the Soul King had were precursors to the schrifts? And while Soul King could use them perfectly fine, Yhwach couldn't and thus needed people to cultivate these powers for him.

Possible, the Soul King had a lot of powers as we've seen and been told.

Also, I like that the previous update ended with Tokinada about to tell Hisagi about the past and this update was Ichibei telling the past to the new Royal Guard soldiers on how Seireitei is built on sins for the greater good.

I imagine the next update will transition back to Hisagi and Tokinada.

He would have willingly become the Soul King just like his Shiba ancestor wanted to be.

Soul King also apperently was involved in Ichigo coming to the palace according to Ichibe.

That's the point, he wouldn't refuse because he would have accepted it, it's a bloodline thing.

"Bloodline will always tell. The boy from the House of Shiba was supposed to be the next Rei-o. It's interesting."

"The Shiba ancestor did rebel against the Tsunayashiro ancestor for sealing the Rei-o by force. He tried to find a way to sacrifice himself instead of the Rei-o. I had hoped that the sinless would be exempt from the other crimes."

"Ho..! That mentality certainly fits the House of Shiba."

"In a sense, it was a most foolish thing for him to do. If he had not failed to persuade; then he would have had to prepare himself to be the cornerstone of the three worlds. It's ironic, really. The Shiba bloodline was allowed to thrive only because the Tsunayashiro ancestor decided to seal the Rei-o."

Hikifune Kirio shrugged her ample shoulders, thinking about the past.

"I remember Kaien-kun. He was like that too."

"And so, the Shiba ancestor was erased from history by the House of Tsunayashiro."

The monk sighed, staring up at the ceiling.

"But when the descendant, Ichigo appeared, possessing all the qualities that made him fit to replace the Rei-o, I really thought that history was repeating itself. Perhaps the world needs someone like him."
