Not sure about anywhere else, but In my country, where the recreational drugs are a death sentence, many people want to legalize it. Not that the death sentence or the strict searches stopped them though, as people still find ways to smuggle it in, so I'm not sure if banning would be that useful, at least short term.

Unless you also think 90% of big tech companies should also be banned (Facebook, Google, X/Twitter, Apple, etc) I think it's a hypocritical stance to take.

I don't think tiktok should be banned or rather, I think the entire tiktok format should be banned. Youtube shorts? Likee? Down the drain.
We might start sounding like boomers saying it should be banned because them meddlin' kids are becomin' stoopid or sth, but the thing is, tiktok doesn't really bring any benefit. Old people have generally complained about new stuff throughout centuries - novels, rock n roll, pcs, social media, phones - but the thing is, these things, at least in my opinion, have brought us benefit in one way or another. Novels would increase creativity, bring new ideas, help shape people, rock n roll was a breakthrough in music and created countless genres subsequently and made many people come closer together, pcs and phones have countless benefits to any person and social media gave people the chance to communicate with friends from all around the globe. On the other hand, tiktok doesn't really have any major benefits that don't already exist and instead spreads misinfo about everything (not just politics), low quality content, plagiarism, lowers the attention span of people, is made specifically addictive to get people hooked and just generally has so much brainrot its unbeliavable.

1. Word of God should have more credence than it does
2. Bleach feels incredibly soulless (ironically) and poorly-written, and I cannot understand how it became so iconic aside from the (wasted) core premise
3. I'll weigh in on the Jojo discourse and say part 2 is the best Jojo part
4. Half-Blood Prince is the most overrated HP film, even more than the rest of the series
5. Our standards for intelligence are fecked beyond belief (Supergenius should just mean superhuman intelligence, change my mind)

It should, just not on vsbw. You can say whatever you want and make it canon to the story but if you make a game about a guy crossing bridges fast but then reveal that he is actually jumping uncountably infinite mega multiverses in some vague tweet reply then you're tweakin'

Supergenius means you can make something that requires intellect to craft that alters an entire universe or higher dimensions. Categorizing it as superhuman intelligence is like taking all the tiers above tier 9-C and categorizing them as "Real Strong" and nothing else.

This is true, but DH at least is closer to living up to the hype. I often hear people point to HBP as one of the best ones, but I think it's one of the weakest entries.
I just think we need more categories. Like, most fiction just uses Supergenius to mean "smarter than any real human can be", so I think it's weird that that's the term we use for the hardest-to-reach upper echelon of absurd gadgetry.
Plus obligatory mention of characters like in Worm that can make 4d tech but are otherwise less intelligent than most mammals.

They still think that something being stinky with green steam coming off it is what encapsulates the joke, while in reality the reason why it ever became funny in the first place in this world is because the sound is unexpected and loud, while the thing they keep trying to use is only enjoyed by shitty fetish artists who need to stop showing up when i search up fanart of random characters. That is why reverb fart memes are a thing and they work especially in situations where you least expect them.
In short, animation companies who haven't moved on from fart jokes have neither moved on from 80-90s logic that "nasty=funny".
