Unpopular Opinions and (Friendly) Rant thread

Are all of us ignoring how this mf called Clash of Clans a gacha game?
Aren't gacha games the type of games where you gamble for characters and have micro transactions?

Like, imagine if instead of a sexy anime woman you got resources, weapons and men. That's clash of clans.

Clash Royale is a Gacha Games because you can pay for premium stuff that has RNG on what you get from chests

It is mostly premium because Lvl 15 is something very hard to get along with Legendary or Higher Rarity Cards
I quitted that after that it became a genuine paywall tbh.

Like I just was getting pitted against overleveled people at a certain point it became demoralizing real quick.

I know I have powerscaling brainrot because the first thing I thought of when I saw this game about a hot yandere that controls a virtual world and is in love with the player was "But can he beat Monika tho?" Rather than "Damn, she's hot. Has anyone made fan art of Mita kissing Monika yet?"

Deidalius sometimes its more appropriate to keep your thoughts to yourself.

I hope you soar too close to the sun and the wax of your wings melts.

Seeing people discussing the morality of murdering someone on a website dedicating to indexing fictional characters and using them in debates, that is inhabited by literal children, is the definition of being terminally online.
Oh boo-hoo someone dared talk about morals, can't have that in a thread I could leave at any point can I? And also what the heck is up with the children? We allow people 13 and up and they get the same news as we all do through like a billion social medias.

end of the day, this is a place for pleasantries and hobby-related stuff, topics such as murder and the debate of whether it is right to eat the rich are an unpleasant and therefore unwelcome topic of discussion on the forum. no need to stir the pot, I think, least of all on Christmas.

Strongly agreed. I have deleted the relevant controversial posts.

Also, Arceus0x, please try to restrain yourself from any more pot-stirring. This is not remotely the first time you have done so. 🙏

I want to take a moment to reflect on my behavior from years ago. I viewed my knowledge/IQ as a tidal wave, believing that other people's opnion were nothing but pebbles on the shore. Looking back This mindset was not only arrogant but also negative of the valuable perspectives others had to offer.

I've since learned the importance of valuing different viewpoints and engaging in useful dialogue.

If discussing something that isn't even really politics but news in general is taboo because it might cause controversy (it didn't, people literally agreed) then ig i won't. Also can you just not delete everything every time? You're just erasing more and more things that happened and were settled. An admin telling us to stop will stop us from continuing this discussion. Can't sweep everything under the rug, can we?
