Hearts can telerport out of Solaris range, and go back to kill him.
Like, "Wow, he gonna blow up the entire timeline" And telerport out, and he would have time.

Wouldnt it be slower then solaris off the bat nuking the timeline
Solaris > Nuke
Hearts > Wow he gonna nuke! > Teleport > Come back to kill solaris

According to earlier post Solaris nuking everything should be instant, and was only halted in the series because of a rift

solaris: big scream of likely anger
Eggman: This creature will consume all existing timelines, and time itself will collapse and disappear into nothingness
Shadow: The Instability of time caused this time-space rift
Eggman: It won't last for much longer
This prolly implies, yeah solaris was being held back from destroying everything cause of the space-time rift

Not sure why that woul't happen again here trought.
That really don't convice me that attack would happen in instant and Hearts can't react in time.

When Solaris first appeared the entire timeline just disappeared not immediately tho, whether its cause of dramatic effect or not is kinda vague
