Worst way to end it: Thanos tries to reverse time, yet the Avengers on Earth deus ex him, slaying his ass down. Then, Thor stabs him, while everyone else restrains Thanos. Hence, Thor slays the Mad Titan, ending it all. All of which costing the lives of both Loki, Gamora, Heimdall, and Vision.
That'd be a DISNEY way to end it all. Right? Well, NO! Be thankful that didn't happen.

Thanos is just about to destroy half of all life, but Cap sneaks up on him, like right behind. Thanos hears Cap and hits him with a backhand, but Cap manages to counter it with his shield. The Stones then get stuck to Cap's shield. Thanos says f***, and then Cap says "Language" just as he erases Thanos.
