You can't prevent someone from looking at you with ob haki. Unless zoro finds out a way by blind folding himselfor keep his eyes closed he's not getting past genjutsu without knowing beforehand.
observation haki will make zoro know before hand.... literally basic observation haki users will sense something bad will happen.... zoro doesn’t just have basic observation haki... he can sense your intentions and predict attacks + more but I don’t remember them
Zoro can predict movements and predict your intentions... that is why luffy and zoro trains against animals because the show a lot of their intentions and emotion when attacking
