Reforged Ideals Game Thread 6

[You don't need to. I was told it was about if there is truth to be found in fiction or something, so I guess I'll assume it's that.]

"I am aware that you could. As for your question. I suppose so, but then art and literature are not my areas of expertise."

Having a feeling that this won't exactly be the most expedient of ventures, I try to strike up a converstation while thinking up ways to create my own form of an Origin Bullet, as well as utilize that Dark Magic Layla gave me.

You can hear this, right?

"Well, it's important to realize that there will always be some factors you can't predict or see coming, which means there's always something else to see. More importantly, I think you maybe haven't realized there is a slight divide between objective fact and truth. The two go together, but they aren't the same. When you go past the how, there's always a why that goes beyon it. It's the same reason you see something important in advancement and growth, and why people see themselves in fiction that's false. If you can touch on a bit of a higher, or even just different understanding, you might be able to appreciate people a bit more."

I frown.

"I guess thats alot to take in. Either way, it's good to talk it out with people, especially if it's someone you can't instantly understand. Maybe you should try getting a artistic hobby."

"Hmm. Well. While fiction may have a degree of truth in it, that truth is found by chance. I assume you have heard of the idea of monkeys and typewriters. Eventually, someone is bound to reach a good idea by chance, however that does not make anything else meaningful. I do not see how people relating to arbitrary works would give me insight into humanity." He argues.

"Personally I see little purpose in art, though talking with people is likely the best I can do to understand them, trying to avoid analyzing them as a machine would."

"You're right. People are dumb. But I think its the capacity for truth thats important. They have potential, and whether we like it or not, we may have to help lead them in the right direction. Maybe you could call it the evolution from monkey on a typewriter to a man. Really though, point is, sometimes objective facts and formulas don`t quite reach the truth. I just think maybe you could understand better if you understood or practiced art. Though its all up to you."

"Hmm. I suppose that is one way to look at it. I am aware that my calculations do not reach the core of what a human is, despite accurately predicting everything about them. Art does not seem the way to do this, but then, I am uncertain what else is. I can't exactly disable my own intelligence."

"Maybe its one of those things we shouldn't try and overthink. You said yourself you're not aiming for learning everything. Just do your best to find your calling, and you might reach a reason. In the meantime, its good to have a friend to talk to. I'm sure we could both learn alot from each other."

I offer Nicholas a handshake.

"Great! By the way, I forgot to ask, but you wouldn't have anything relating to art that I could use? Literature or music works too. I know you don't do much with art, but you have a lot of interesting things here."

"Well, I have access to every bit of art, music and literature humanity has ever produced, if that's what you mean. I haven't worked on anything much regarding those areas though."

"Oh, and I also have this book that Amy wrote." He says, showing the Co-Author book that was given to him before.

"The basis for it was discerning human qualities, improving abilities related to this, additionally it granted the user the title of co-author, allowing the use of my analysis and her writing abilities in tandem" he explains.

"Psh" Crunkledunk responds to Andrew. "Literature and art has no means to not prove there is no entirely objective reality, and it is predictable. Just because an abstract piece seems detached from reality it is purely because the creator was expressing feelings of such. Art is an interpretation of reality, even if the artist tries to escape from it- as in the end imagination is obviously bound to reality itself. Everything you can literally possibly think of is based in reality. Art is a subjective view of reality of course, because it is the persons perception of reality, based in a world of objective reality. If you want to use basic Cartesian philosophy. I dare you to come up, imagine a simple concept that isn't bound by being an interpretation of reality"

"Crunkledunk, slow down when you talk. I still haven't forgiven you for last time, and I'd appreciate if you weren't so annohing every time you spoke."

"Oh yes, you haven't forgiven me for having no notable impact on your life for the worse; but, hey, I suppose people always like to have something to complain about- so when you find someone isolated and slightly rude then you think it is the perfect target to do so. I am so sorry you stopped from doing nothing to something you wanted to do, and may have been called an idiot once or twice. I also speak perfectly coherently and I don't know why you require me to slow down." Crunkledunk responds gradually turning from glum to somewhat infuriated

"Well done proving I am wrong from stating a sarcastic and highly unoriginal sentence, that is applied to make you seem like the sensible one in front of others despite possessing no means to suggest you are right- you posing hack. And my name isn't Crunkle, it is Crunkledunk"

"I just honestly don't care enough to argue with you. You arent convincing anybody anyway."

I turn and leave to find something else to do.

Crunkledunk sighs. "Of course I'm not worthy of a response" Crunkledunk mutters and slumps on the counter

"Well then I guess I better go then" Crunkledunk teleports himself up to the satellite.

@Faruel "Er, Hi- so I think my full conscious is going to stay away from the apartment, I'll keep some lesser advanced clones there, but I'm having a few home troubles. Anyway, your tech should suffice, I want to build something in preparation." Crunkledunk starts adding upgrades to his suit (including strange tendrils), forming nanobots, and forming a device which can be applied to his suit. He calls this the "ultra charge"- a device he can use 3 times per battery for a minute which upgrades his statistics amplification. He was able to achieve this very simply with his "Building" origin (I rolled on discord last night btw and I didn't roll a one, meaning it is perfectly functioning towards the purposes Crunkledunk is attempting to achieve)

"I created two things, the first is this," I say, turning my arm into a kind of rotating plasma cannon.

Raising my arm, the cannon spins, expanding the plasma sphere and turning it into a great barrier.

"This barrier is a constraining force field, it also interferes with the functions of a teleport or the creation of portals on a technological basis ... so my brother will not be able to escape"

"And as a second, I created this that will help me overcome his Regenerationn," I explain.

All of a sudden my chest widens, creating a vertical slit between the chest plates while a blue light with white shades shines inside it.

"I modified the inner compartment where there is my spark, using it as a generator, I created something that I hope to use only once ... an antimatter cannon"

@crusade

"No I'm fine with it. Anyone can stay here as long as they don't destroy the place."

After looking around, I decide to talk to the bird girl.

"Fujin right? You do news stuff here I've heard. I get the feeling people don't tend to care about that though. Probably only want your help with other stuff."

After some long time kissing Ruby, Dilma slowly disengage Ruby while looking at her with a smile, she gently puts her hand at the Pyromancer's cheek

"You know cutie, i don't care what i will do, as long as you are together with me, there is no way that i will not enjoy it"
The flame mage re-opens her eyes and smiles back at Dilma, with her heatbeat rate being sky high, every liber of her person filled with happiness.

"I feel the same way~"

"Thank you."
I put Ento Ju back in negative space before heading off to find Amy.
Nicholas was right in some twisted sense. "I'm" still using a little free will to think and choose. I need to completely let go of any thought or will of my own in order to be selfless,

" Oh. Hello. Do you need help with something?"

"Megalith, before we go actually I would like to ask two questions. One, why is your brother a threat now- even though we have upgraded in power- and also, um" Crunkledunk pauses for a moment. "Why do people care about what I say? Like I am some bully trying to cause pain to them maliciously, attempting to rule them on"
