Ragnarök-RP Thread

"I don't know you, so I'd appreciate it if you respect my personal boundaries. In fact, I don't know any of you..." The boy requested once more as Gabriel just sighed and placed her hand on Rhongomyniad's shoulder.

"It's nothing too severe, Rhongomyniad, we can deal with it later." Gabriel said, "First off, your name..." She requested of the boy.

"Tokugawa Ieyasu..." He murmured, crossing his arms.

Jack began to look at the whole room, he was actually comparing the corruption of this city with the corruption he sense before from the train creature, he wanted to see if they were somehow related, if the corruption comes from the same creature or maybe a race of creatures created by Adam

Tokugawa sighed, as Okita would bow down to the child.

"If it was not obvious, yes, I am the emperor of this country..." Tokugawa said, "But that is of no importance. As the one who calls herself Rhongomyniad said, statuses of authority matter not, and thus, you've no need to bow your head to me, Captain Souji."

"Forgive me, My Lord..." Okita said, nodding as she then stood up straight.

"Now, without any interruptions, explain why your here, and explain it in as few sentences as feasibly possible," Tokugawa said firmly.

"Well specifically to talk about the trains and corruption, insert village name here has been attacked repeatedly by said trains, so we are relocating the people elsewhere, and as such it requires more support, the corruption specifically works less and less the more divinity one has, if you know it spreads on touch that's better, but I'd also mention that it's derived from dark magic, so you can prepare against it better, if you decide to help or tag along with us, we will do our best to protect you and let you safely command your forces from above, So I recommend doing so." Raviathon said, specifically making it clear she was speaking in a one-sentence format

Tokugawa was silent for a few moments before speaking.

"I would be glad to assist you in your efforts now that I am aware of the situation..." He said, nodding.

"Really? That's grea-" Kiara was about to let out a sigh of relief before Tokugawa cut her off.

"But I'm afraid the help I will be able to provide is minimal. Last night, this city was attacked by one of the trains you speak of, and raided by the Poison Dragon and its forces. I have very minimal staff on hand, as those I had are either dead or were merely too frightened to continue fighting and thus left the city to spend time with their families abroad. Usually, I would have them executed for such cowardice, or well, the previous emperor would, but, I am not so cruel, and thus, I respected their wishes to retreat upon their own discretion." Tokugawa explained, sighing.

"Dragon was a figure of speech, sir," Tokugawa said, sighing as he got down from his throne. "Whatever it was... It was most certainly not a Dragon. Regardless, it was definitely poisonous as well."

"And I assume you want us to defeat it?" Rory asked sternly.

"Well, you have the choice to do so. It would make things much easier for me... If the Poison Dragon is defeated then it would allow me to perhaps request aid from neighboring cities. I am the emperor, so, even if you people may not care for my authority, my word holds leeway among the common defense..." Tokugawa said.

"What I really want to know is why a mere child is an emperor... No, scratch that, how did he survive...?" Metatron thought to himself before simply shrugging.

"Based on what I was able to see, it is, instead of a Dragon, which is a mere nickname, a large centaur-like creature with a humanoid upper half and an equine lower half. It is around 20 meters tall and possesses 6 arms, and 2 large wings for flight. In terms of strength, its movements crushed many city blocks of this city... And it released a dark green substance from its body that corroded and broke apart the area around it, and was most likely formed from magic." Tokugawa explained thoroughly.

"Then that wasn't poison, that was corruption..." Metatron said, sighing. "You said it had forces. What about those?"

"I could not get a reading on the numbers it had, I am afraid..." Tokugawa said, shaking his head.

"I am afraid not. If it was not obvious, I myself was not on the battlefield, and thus, I was unable to get as much information as either of us may have desired. My apologies..." Tokugawa said, bowing his head lightly.

"Do not bow your head, boy, you couldn't have done anything," Metatron said, crossing his arms.

Lance glanced at Metatron, visibly surprised to hear the man comment something like that.

Masayoshi sighed.

"...Metatron's right. No one can expect you to fight out in the field. You've already given us plenty of useful information." Masayoshi said, flashing him a small smile. Thought inwardly, she wished they could have gone in with a more solid background on the enemy.

"I sense your discontent, Masayoshi, and I thus apologize once more for a lack of information. Regardless, if you desire to cooperate with me, all of my resources are open which is admittedly not much, but regardless, I don't believe you'd rather much of my help anyway." Tokugawa said, chuckling lightheartedly.

"If you can uh... Provide a place for me to uh... take care of some business, then that would be lovely." Kiara said, chuckling as well as she scratched the back of her head.

"...Huh?" Tokugawa said, then he shook his head. "Oh, Oooooh, of course, ma'am, congratulations. All of you are free to use any of the facilities or buildings in this entire city." He said with a smile.

"There's no need to apologize....Thank you, Tokugawa." She said, flashing him a small smile.

"...To return the favor...we could help you repair some of the damaged areas in your city, if you'd like..." She offered.

"...Guess she got over the destruction of the city...maybe I didn't need to worry about her..." David thought, his gaze shifting to Kiara. He sighed. He would have liked to have simply stayed on the ship, far away from the people in this Lostbelt. But didn't want to be gone from the group if something happened.

"That would be lovely, Masayoshi. But do not believe that you are obliged to do anything..." Tokugawa said, bowing respectfully this time and not from an apology.

"Thank you, Tokugawa... I'll just uh... Go take care of my business, now." Kiara said, beginning to walk away before Rory gripped her hand even tighter.

"I know this doesn't have anything to do with the pregnancy, Kiara..." Rory whispered to her wife, causing her to sigh.

"You can come with me if you want... I'm just going off to think..." Kiara whispered back.

"Don't look forward to it just yet, I'll be running some long-distance scans to make sure the corruption only effected you physically, if it is, great, I'll warp you on-board outside the city, if it isn't, you'll have to have Gabriel or Cullthane purify you before you come on board." Yharon said, but his voice was calm and even gentle, but it was clearly a precaution Yharon was taking about this, though Raviathon did give Tokugawa an understanding look in case he didn't want to do that, Yharon already starting the process of scanning

"Please, so long as whatever "scans" you are doing will be beneficial to me, then I give you full permission to perform whatever procedures you desire. So long as they are beneficial, at least." Tokugawa said, nodding.

"Good, then, we'll get you onto the Hyperion after that... I'll probably be staying behind to help with the rebuilding and treating some more of the injured, with help we can probably put things back in relative order by the time the next train hits, and then, we'll be ready for it." Gabriel said, seeming more focused than usual as she crossed her arms, her wings gently flapping.

"Good, the corruption was only physical, David, escort the emperor outside, Raviathon, Masayoshi, rebuild and reinforce the walls, first thing's first will always be the outer defenses and people." Yharon ordered, Raviathon looking a little surprised for a moment as Rhongomyniad began to try to go outside

Raviathon went over to Metatron and tried to speak to him telepathically, not even bothering to try and break his mental defenses as she did so "What's wrong?"

"...I'll go back to the Hyperion with the ki- I mean...emperor." David said, scratching his head.

"I'll make sure he's alright and get some training done before the train hits..."

"I'll stick around. If everything works out, I should be able to easily repair the buildings while the healers work on the people themselves." Masayoshi said.
"You have no need to address me with respect, I don't believe my authority means much in this situation. Simply call me 'Tokugawa', or 'Ieyasu' if you want to call me by my first name." Tokugawa said, chuckling.

"...That boy is... strange, to say the least. I'd rather discuss it somewhere else." Metatron responded telepathically, his response clearly laced with scorn and annoyance at Raviathon as he simply began floating out of the building.

"....He sure likes ordering people around..." David muttered, sighing at Yharon's orders.

"...alright, let's go...Ieyasu" He said.

Masayoshi's gaze lingered on the emperor for a moment, before turning away.

"...Something is....off...." Masayoshi murmured. She shook her head, wondering if she was just being paranoid.

"...I'll...I'll get those walls fixed..." She said, slowly moving out of the building.

Raviathon followed Metatron, pondering it herself

"I trust the Emperor far as I can throw him." Terevion muttered to Gabriel
"That's admittedly pretty far, Terevion. He's a child. Though, obviously, he isn't a human. Or well, he is..." Gabriel said telepathically.

"He looks like a homonculus of sorts.. I don't sense a soul or essence or anything from him, so, it makes sense that the corruption could only go so far without anything to corrupt barring his physical body..." She said telepathically.

"....He sure likes ordering people around..." David muttered, sighing at Yharon's orders.

"...alright, let's go...Ieyasu" He said.

"We'll go with you guys as well!" Kiara said, "Not like Rory and I can do much to help fix things around here..."

"Thank you, Ms. Kiara, Ms. Rory." Tokugawa said with a smile.

David glanced at the two for a moment.

“Thought ya two were planning on doing somethin' here.” David said, shrugging a bit as he recalled Kiara's words to the emperor.
"I uh... We can do it later! It wasn't that important and I uh... I think we both need to clear our heads." Kiara said, immediately figuring out David's intentions for escorting Ieyasu.

"I uh... We can do it later! It wasn't that important and I uh... I think we both need to clear our heads." Kiara said, immediately figuring out David's intentions for escorting Ieyasu.
"Yeah...I..guess ya right about that..." David sighed.

Lance glanced around, deciding to go find where Metatron and Raviathon went.

"...W-what will you do, Okita...?" Ythala said softly, climbing onto the woman again.

"Your Majesty, where was the first appreciation of the train? in what area of the city? Just curious" Jack asked the emperor
(Just gonna assume that Jack is with David and the others escorting Tokugawa back to the Hyperion.)

"It appeared right outside the city, at the back of the walls. And again, you've no need to address me with respect, my authority means very little to you people in this situation." Tokugawa said.
"Yeah...I..guess ya right about that..." David sighed.

Lance glanced around, deciding to go find where Metatron and Raviathon went.

"...W-what will you do, Okita...?" Ythala said softly, climbing onto the woman again.
"Well... I believe I should do some training before we face any... "Dragons"." Okita said, "Would you mind playing a tune for me while I do so?"

"You know, man, if you need to talk you cab. Two-way deal with the whole communication stuff." Kiara said.

Meanwhile, Metatron had gone off to simply clear his head for a bit at the edge of the city, keeping guard. He wanted to go talk to Cullthane, but, there were to many things to consider at the time, and thus, he simply floated and crossed his arms, formulating a defensive strategy.
