Ragnarök-RP Thread

As soon as time resumed Rory shot herself forward, the spears lodging themselves into her lower body as her wounds slowly began to heal with her own natural regeneration, as Rory's silver aura immediately froze the fire and morphed the frozen remains into more swords that she launched towards Masayoshi in another violent storm of glacial blades, hitting the clone specifically as Rory skillfully dodged the beams of energy with minimal injuries to her vitals, said minimal wounds healing quickly as she continued to dash towards Masayoshi with her enormous sword.

Kiara breathed heavily, sighing in relief as she had realized she had barely any injuries around the area where her womb/stomach was.

"Y-Yeah... I'm fine..." She said with a faint, forced smile, allowing him to help her up.
The clone itself was caught off guard by Rory's assault, quickly dissipating. Masayoshi however, was able to react much more swiftly, quickly sprouting several massive pillars of earth from the ground that would block the glacial blades before they could reach her. Should this be successful, Masayoshi would snap her fingers, the pillar shattering into multiple jagged spears that would begin to spin at absurdly high speeds, before immediately flying towards Rory. Masayoshi rapidly shifted the position of these spikes with her telekinesis, moving in unpredictable patterns as they began to slam into Rory, the sharpness and rotational energy digging into her flesh.

All the while, Rory's forward charge would serve to activate more traps Masayoshi had placed in the air around her, explosions of electricity and light burning into Rory's flesh as the traps would rapidly expand when she neared them.

"....Glad to hear it..." David sighed, flashing her a small smile, trying to hide his frustration. He leaned against the wall, the wounds in his torso closing themselves as his body control and regeneration rapidly restored his functions.

Rory threw away her enormous sword, summoning two long and thin katanas. They were a lot lighter than that sword, so they would be easier to swing without her having to rely on their weight to increase the speed of her swings. Rory breathed softly as the spinning spears came flying towards her, the veins in her arms disappearing as she tempered her senses, expertly deflecting each and every spike back to Masayoshi. She coated her blades in willpower and silver aura to increase both their cutting power and freezing power, making it so that most of the spikes would either be shattered, or covered in ice, which would bring them under Rory's control, allowing her to launch them back at Masayoshi. Though she couldn't avoid the expanding traps, she would simply coat her body in ice to debilitate their effects on her so she didn't have to continuously freeze her burns, creating an ice armor of sorts that allowed her burns to both heal while protecting her from the explosions, Rory clearly not at all done yet.

"...What's wrong...?" Kiara asked as she looked at Rory and Masayoshi's fight, standing next to David as she simply cauterized whatever wounds she had, unbothered by them mostly, planning to get them completely healed by Gabriel or something later.

From @DaReaperMan:

"If she consents, yes," Terevion responded.

"Jeez, now I'm thinking about Gabriel's kid!" Shalor murmured quietly.

From @azontr:

Belial would simply sigh, his arms still crossed. "Alright, I think I've got more than enough info now..."
From @DaReaperMan:

"Good to know. I believe I'll be handing you back to Gabriel now." Terevion said, waiting for them to get any last words or conversations in if they wanted to.

From @azontr:

"No, I think we're good..." Belial said, "Unless you have something you want to say, Shalor."

Masayoshi continued to weave magic in the air, creating a forcefield in front of her to block the shattered bits of ice before suddenly launching it towards Rory, the forcefield morphing into a gigantic gavel that would slam down on Rory's head, hoping to chip away at her ice armor as Masayoshi continued to fly away from her. Should this attack hit, Masayoshi would immediately alter its shape, the gavel morphing into a thick chain that would wrap around Rory's body, before immediately charging itself with electricity, electrocuting her if successful.

"...Nothing Kiara!" David said, shrugging a bit.

"...I...had fun fighting ya." David said, smiling.

Rory simply punched the gavel with all her might, shattering it in freezing the shards which she once again morphed into flying swords that continued to fly towards Masayoshi in a storm of blades once more, Rory clearly trying to overwhelm her. Rory would also jump forward as well with her two katanas, coating them in ice and willpower to try and cut into Masayoshi while she was being overwhelmed by the storm of blades.

"Same here, but, there's still clearly something on your mind... Your not good at hiding things..." Kiara murmured.

From @DaReaperMan:

"I have nothing really, just saying to give her a kiss~ -" Shalor teased as Terevion passed on the ring back to Gabriel, letting her hear the "kiss" part of it.

From @azontr:

Gabriel snatched the ring back and immediately cut the connection, clearly not wanting to have to deal with any of that as she simply turned to Terevion, sighing.

Masayoshi breathed out, clearly being overwhelmed by Rory's tenacity and skill. She rapidly saw Rory's attacks in advance with her precognition, her eyes straining as she continued to foresee such high-speed attacks. Moving away from Rory's blades, she summoned a tendril made of pure dark energy from the ceiling, the tentacle warping around Rory's neck, hoping to restrain her for a few moments as she rapidly constructed multiple forcefields to block the storm of fierce swords.

Summoning another clone, the duplicate began to pelt Rory with rays of piercing light, stabbing into Rory's limbs in an attempt to cripple her.

David sighed, chuckling a bit.

"...I guess ya right about that." He said, scratching his head. he remained silent for a few moments, before speaking.

"....if ya weren't pregnant.....would you have been able to escape that headlock?" David asked, glancing at her.

Rory, stopping her overwhelming assault for a moment so she could summon another sword to cut the tendril to pieces, dashed towards Masayoshi, increasing the thickness of her swords which were already sharp due to her coating them in her immense willpower, cutting through the forcefields in a single slash of both swords if she was successful in hitting Masayoshi, also increasing the thickness of her armor to partially debilitate the damage of the piercing light attacks. Regardless, Rory's swords would reach Masayoshi and carve into her torso if the witch failed to dodge.

"I mean, no, but if I kept throwing out explosions I could've at least brought you down with me... Being pregnant does sorta limit my movements and how much I can fight..." Kiara murmured.

For the first time in the battle, Rory's hit struck true, her blade digging into Masayoshi's flesh as she winced in visible pain. Masayoshi was no endurance specialist like David, and such a hit was clearly having an effect on her...but she pushed forward regardless. Raising her hands' she slammed Rory with a point-blank blast of elemental fury, mixing all of her elements together as an explosion enveloped the entire area around her, Rory included.

At the same time, the duplicate, understanding the main body was in danger, created am magical construct in the shape of an armored Knight that would rush toward's her. The constructed soldier slammed its sword onto Rory's neck in an attempt to decapitate her.

"........" David thought for a few moments.

"...That fight made me remember one of the reasons I loved Pro Wrestling, Kiara." David said.

"...The...thrill of a good battle. The adrenaline...the simplicity of just two fighters putting themselves on the line. Not to kill each other, but just to win...ya know..." David said, scratching his head.

"...I don't know, I just wish I coulda fought ya at your best, that's all. Even if I might've lost." He said, chuckling a bit.

Even as Rory was hit with that point-blank elemental attack, she continued to dig into Masayoshi's flesh, her ice armor visibly cracked. Rory's face was visibly charred and her skull was exposed, but regardless, she covered her head in more ice armor and continued to dig into Masayoshi, slamming her into the ground with Rory's katanas still dug into her, Rory throwing one of the blades out of her and towards the knight and blowing it to pieces. At this rate, either Masayoshi would be cut in half, or Rory would fall, the latter of which was very unlikely.

Kiara remained silent for a bit as he said this, and understood it. In times past she enjoyed good fights as well, in fact, being able to indulge each other in skillful technique and strong attacks. But Kiara knew that what she had displayed wasn't just to win, no, it was something she thought she had long forgotten, something she thought she had moved past. She could've put her unborn child in danger...

"I... I get what you mean, David..." Kiara murmured, trembling lightly.

Masayoshi took a shaky breath outward. Knowing that it was a futile effort at this point. The Katana was already in her body, and she couldn't afford to have Rory slice her in two, knowing her limited healing in the Lostbelt wouldn't work against such damage. At close range, against someone as tenacious and skilled at Rory, her chance of winning had severely diminished.

She raised both of her hands, sighing as blood trickled from her mouth.

"....I yield..." She said.

David looked at Kiara, suddenly wondering if he had said something wrong as he saw her tremble.

"Ay Kiara, ya alright? I...I'm sorry if I said something dumb..." He said. He scratched his head, worry entering his thoughts as he began to wonder if he was messing up another relationship without even realizing it.

Rory dissipated her blades and armor, falling back first onto the ground. Her wounds were healing, very slowly, but surely, most of them being burns she could simply freeze to make sure they healed properly.

"Cool," Rory said casually, just laying there as she turned to Kiara and David.

"H-Huh?! N-No, no man, of course not! I'm just... thinking about some things..." Kiara murmured, noticing Rory and Masayoshi had finished their spar.

Masayoshi sighed, slowly rewinding time on her body as the wounds began to close themselves. Her clone dissipated moments later.

"Your insane, Rory, In a good way." She said, chuckling as she began to mend the tear in her dress.

"...I didn't expect you to power through everything like that."

David looked at Kiara for a moment.

"Want to talk about it? I'm open if ya want to vent." David said.

"...I've powered through worse," Rory said, chuckling lightly at Masayoshi's comment as her burns were slowly disappearing from her body.

"Nah man, it's... It's nothing, really..." Kiara murmured, sighing. "I'm just... remembering some things..."

"heh, I guess that's true." Masayoshi said, floating in the air slightly as she smoothed her dress.

"Did the spar help at all? I know the Gabriel situation has been pretty...stressful." She said, looking towards Rory.

David looked at Kiara, before nodding.

"...alright. just hit me up if ya ever need someone to talk to, alright?" David said, smiling a bit.

"...Not really, Masayoshi. If anything, that spar was just a way for me to release all my stress." Rory said with a sigh.

Kiara smiled as best she could, "Thanks, David... I'll... I'll be sure to keep that in mind..."

Masayoshi sighed, nodding at Rory.

David flashed Kiara a thumbs up, before turning towards Masayoshi and Rory.

"Good work out there honey, ain't no shame in losing someone like Rory." David said, smiling at her.

"...Thank's honey, you to!" she said. Returning his smile.

"....Ya guys want to stick around here or go back to the others?" He asked Kiara and Rory, stretching a bit.

David nodded, breathing out.

"...I'm....going to go check on the others." David said. The spar had served to distract him from the situation for a moment....but his concern for Gabriel was quickly clouding his mind again.

"...I'll see ya two when ya finish...." He turned away, moving towards the entrance.

"...I'm heading out too, it was nice sparring with you guys." Masayoshi said, waving as she left the room.

Rory could immediately tell what was on David's mind as she saw him and Masayoshi leave, while Kiara simply turned away, moving away from Rory so she could begin going through some of her basic workouts.

"...." Rory sighed, going over to Kiara as she did pushups.

"Are you alright?" Rory asked, beginning to swing her sword next to Kiara, her silver aura disappearing and her eyes turning back to crimson. As always, her technique and strength were astonishing, and they would only continue to improve as she trained.

"...I'm fine," Kiara said as she continued to do pushups, sweating profusely. Both Rory and Kiara remained silent.

...

"Apophis."

"Rider Punch."

It was like a flash of white and red. Rory summoned an enormous blade of fire and ice, while Kiara covered her entire arm in a fiery explosion, both of them clashing with each other, ending up on opposite sides of the arena. Where Rory stood, a large, clean gash appeared in the arena, while where Kiara stood, a circle of scorched ground stood around her.

"Let's get to training, then..." Rory murmured, Kiara's fist having been cut in half while Rory sustained a dangerous burn to her stomach.

"I was only doing that to intercept your attack, Rory... I didn't expect this to turn into a spar..." Kiara said, turning to her wife.

"Do you want to stop?" Rory asked.

"No... If anything, this is better for me. That loss gave some insight into some things I need to improve on..." Kiara said, clearly serious about this spar.

"I need to get stronger..." She thought to herself, "To protect my friends... But I... I can't just..."

Both Kiara and Rory sighed. Rory got into her stance, and so did Kiara.

"Here I come..." Rory said.

"Same," Kiara responded as they began training.

Meanwhile...

Gabriel simply sat down on the front deck, using her feathers to form a hammock of sorts as she formed some strands of her wings into feather tentacles of sorts to bring her books to read, remaining silent.

"I talked to Shalor and Belial for a bit... Belial wanted to talk to Terevion for some reason..." Gabriel said.
"Terevion huh?" David said, scratching his head. He wondered why Belial of all people would take an interest in a guy like that, though he realized he and Gabriel did seem close.

"Don't think I've talked to the man much myself. He a good guy?" David asked.

"He's... a serious guy. I don't think I've ever really seen him smile or... crack a joke or whatever... But he's reliable when he needs to be, and..." Gabriel's smile continued to grow as she spoke of him, soon ceasing flipping through her book as a faint blush appeared on her cheeks.
