“But…whatever happens. I’m here for you Masayoshi. This whole thing might fall apart, but as long as we’re together we can overcome it, I’m sure of it.” David said warmly.

Masayoshi smiled, kissing King Tiger on the cheek.

"You are my hero, after all..." Masayoshi said with a smile.
 
“Oh!” David said, snapping his fingers

“that reminds I wanted to ask ya about something honey.”

“while you were peering through timelines, trying to stop the mist, Towa decided to help me get stronger. So I could…protect you better” David said blushing slightly.

“she put this… infinity symbol on my chest, told me I would go though some evolution or somethin. Do you know anything about that?” David asked.

"I made her aware of it as soon as she came to," Towa said.

“I’m just confused about what evolution means. Like, what is it gonna do to my body? Am I gonna like…transform into something else? Grow super strong? What’s gonna happen?” He asked the pair.

David looked over at Rory, surprised at the compliment

“You think so? Thanks Rory, I appreciate it!” David said, smiling at her.

“I just want to be more…useful. Ya know? Like I can’t save people just by being strong and being tough, I gotta expand my horizons a bit!”

"I'm interested in seeing you use some of it in action..." Masayoshi said.
 
"Hah, what do you wanna do? Summon a bunch of meteorites or something? Cause I can do that, and it's probably not a very good idea. I'm honestly 99% sure you could also do that..." Belial said, at first jokingly but then he was deep in thought in whether David could make meteorites fall via gravity.

“Oh yeah…I probably could do that! I would just have to reach my gravity to space so that they are attracted downward…I think. Would have to be in an area without people though…I definitely couldn’t do that if I wanted to protect someone nearby” David mused

“still…that’s a good idea! I should try that sometimes”

The group flew through the stormy clouds, thunder and lightning booming throughout the area, which caused Kiara to cover her ears. "******* noise..." Rory turned to her, "You don't like noise?"

"My eara have been really sensitive lately ever since I got treatment, so this doesn't really help me out..." Kiara said as she winced a bit in pain, "It's just 2 hours. We'll get to someplace quiet soon, hopefully." Rory said, giving Kiara a soft pat on the back.

"Just hold on missy! We'll have to move quickly." The Director said.

"Huh? Move quickly? Why, are we running away from something? Is it an enemy?" She asked The Director, tilting her head in confusion. "Sort of. Just hold on, alright?" He said in response.

"DIE YOU ******* SCUM!!!"

Suddenly, a flash of blue light flew past the helicopter, throwing it off course. The scream of rage clearly wasn't directed towards the group, as the source of the light seemed to be attacking something else instead of them.

"Ugh!" Kiara scrunched up, her ears ringing.
 
"Hah, what's going on is that it seems that the person that we were looking for has come to us." The Director said in response as an enormous geyser of blue light shot up from the ground.

"Return to the hellhole you came from, and stay out of my ocean."

One of the infected beasts growled in pain and frustration on the surface of the corrupted ocean, its tentacles flying towards its assailant in an attempt to bat them away from it, giving it time to heal.

"We'll have to fly a bit higher if we want to get out of the way of that skirmish!" The Director said as he attempted to fly them higher into the sky to avoid the battle, one of the helicopter wings having been damaged from the previous large attack.

"Did you think that would be enough to escape your judgment!?"

The figure that had created the storm of energy easily dashed back down, piercing the beast with the trident they held after masterfully dodging all of it's attacks as if they were nothing.

"Repent for your existence."

The trident overflowed with power that flowed into the beast, causing it to rapidly expand and explode into a large cloud of toxic gas, which did not really affect the figure in any way.

"Alright..."

She gently waved her trident through the air, instantly purifying the toxic ocean and gas back to it's original pure blue, sighing in relief. "So beautiful..." She said, smiling down at the water.

"Looks like she hasn't been skipping out on training." The Director said, slowly flying down.

Lamia looked up to the helicopter, "Huh? Who's that?" She thought to herself.
 
“…that beast…that beast was once a person…wasn’t it…” David thought sadly. Watching as Lamia mercilessly killed the creature.

David shook the thought out of his mind.

“it was too late to save them.” He thought.

he looked at the window and waved at Lamia

“Ay Lamia! Me and Belial are here to see ya, with some of our friends!” He yelled out.
 
"Hm? Oh, it's you guys!" Lamia said as she floated up to the helicopter, popping in. "Hm? Uncle!" She ran over to the director, giving him a hug. "Ho Ho Ho, Lamia dear, take it easy on this poor old man...!" The Director said jokingly.

Lamia smiled, letting go of him. "I've never seen those other two before." She said, referring to Kiara and Rory. "And who're they!" She then referred to Masayoshi and Towa.
 
"Cure...? I can definitely treat it, but I can't cure it!" Lamia said, "Ho Ho, but if we didn't even try, what sort of people would we be? Will you offer us you're resources?" The Director asked.

"Lamia, please... Whatever you have, please, help us!" Rory begged, "N-No need to beg...! I'll gladly do what I can." She said.
