Ragnarök-RP Thread

Belial shrugged and began to thoroughly explain what David had learned from The Director to Rory and Kiara, "So yeah, that's basically it." He said. Kiara shivered, "S-so... I could have become... like that...? And I still can!?" Kiara yelled out.

David nodded.

“I’m sorry Kiara. Seems like the plague could still screw you over, even after treatment.” He said.

“and if me and Belial caught the plague from ya, or that man in the house, then it could happen to either of us as well.” David said, his tone serious.

“or at least to me…I’m not sure of Belial body can get sick” he glanced at the boy.

The Director spoke up, "Ho Ho Ho... Why don't we all take a little trip?" Belial turned to him, "We don't have time for these games-" The Director cut him off, "I had a little brainstorm. I believe this city has an ally who can help. Take a little boat ride with me."

"Have you ever considered that I may be lying?" Rory was about to draw her blade, but waited for him to finish, "Are you?" She asked. "Of course not, but what if I was, girly? Then you'd be in some real trouble, Haha!" The Director said jokingly, causing Rory to end her bloodlust and sigh in relief.

"Now, being trustful is rather dangerous these days. Always know who to trust before you go around handing them the key to the lives of billions," The Director said as the group left the facility through a secret passageway, ending up on the outskirts of the city.

"Who exactly are we going to see?" Belial asked, crossing his arms.

"She isn't allowed into the city you see, she lives far in the ocean. A little girl... Her name is Lamia." The Director said.

"Because as you said, she is a water goddess. Wherever there isn't water, it follows her, and Emerald City isn't exactly an ocean, you see..." Belial sighed, finishing The Director's sentence. "So she'd passively flood the city."

"Correct! Can't have that now, can we?" The Director said.

"The girl is young, she'll be able to control her powers soon enough. Just try not to anger her, she cries pretty violently." The Director lead them to a helicopter pad, which of course, had a large helicopter on it.

"We'll be going by air." Kiara raised her hand, "Uh, I have a question!" The Director chuckled, "No need to raise your hand! Speak." Kiara nodded, "Uh, I thought you had to go by boat to get from Emerald City to other places?" The Director stroked his beard.

"Usually, you'd have to take a boat. The clouds have some nasty thunderstorms brewing up... But this helicopter is designed specifically for that kind of weather, and it's not like you can fly anyway." He said, "O-oh, alright!" Kiara said enthusiastically.

“Wait…”

“If you guys have ways to travel outside the city without a ship. Doesn’t that mean you could like potentially transport a cure to other areas, assuming you found one?” David asked

Emerald City isn’t the only place suffering from the plague. If we could find some way to cure it, and started bringing that cure across the dream world, we could save so many people!”

"We don't have many vessels that can travel through those thunderstorms, even if we did have a sort of cure. Mass-transporting any vaccines isn't feasible at the moment." The Director said.

"Then why can't we teleport? Nothing says we can't teleport outside the city." Belial asked, "Tried that. Teleportation just sends you flying straight into the bowels of that corrupted ocean." Belial sighed.

"So first we'd have to design some vessels that can travel safely before even thinking of a cure... That's the first step, I guess.

“Damn…” David cursed.

“I guess we’ll have to figure out that problem to…”

he looked towards Belial.

“couldn’t you just…duplicate or create more ships, with your powers? If you can, then all we’d need to know is how to create one vessel that could withstand a return trip. Then you could use your power to make more!” David suggested.

"That depends on a few things," Belial said, pressing his hand against the helicopter. "This helicopter is made out of the same stuff that prison cell was made of, right Director?" The Director nodded.

"That's right." He said.

"This'll be difficult then... It's very specially made. Who exactly designed it?" Belial asked, "We have a few magic specialists in our ranks. It took quite a bit of effort to mass-produce, Ho Ho!" Belial sighed.

"I can tell... This is some pretty advanced stuff if it took both me and Kiara combined to break through it. It's got some weird enchantments that prevent spatial interference as well as a few other things. I can't mass-produce this kind of stuff in a short time... It'd take at least a year for me to be able to start on mass-production."

"Well, this is quite the interesting plot twist," Masayoshi said, appearing alongside with Towa, as both of them escaped their bonds with magic, "Do you need us for anything?"
"Well, if you're willing to accompany us... We have a friend who'll be capable of treating this plague. Also, you might have it Masayoshi, so might King Tiger, and me, and my mom and Kiara... Yeah, I think everybody here may have it." Belial said nonchalantly.

"I see..." Masayoshi said, honestly not shocked at this at all.

"I did contain the infected individual in the barrier I made," Towa said, "Though I suppose we ran the risk of being infected the moment we entered the city..."

"Fortunately for you, we haven't seen any symptoms in anybody besides Kiara who was already treated... That won't last long though, most likely." Belial said, rubbing his chin in thought.
