Question about durability of monsters in UT.

The way profiles work is they place each character in character, but give them killing intent. So, while a large amount of Undertale characters are tissue paper when they don't wanna kill, they are tough as as nails when they want to (cough Toriel cough). Plus, literally every character with the exception of Undyne and I assume the Snowman have shown themselves to be a-ok in Hotland, where the temperature is literally thousands of degrees.

So, yes, while I sort of understand where you are coming from, profiles will assume that the characters have killing intent. They will also scale to other characters, most often Tsunderplane and Lesser Dog, as there are calculations for them. (Yes, I know that that is AP, but AP and dura go hand in hand).

As for the weapons... bugger me. I don't know how to explain those. I'll call them magic weapons and move on.

Intent to kill matters a lot more than the physical damage output, in Undertale. There's also matters such as humans having DETERMINATION and the boosts from weapons and armor being entirely metaphysical.

That's why the Tutu of all things offers you protection. Remember, it's covered in dust.
