Pokémon General Discussion Thread Gen VIII: Dragon keeps editing the title

His signature move is spear throw, which never misses, is a OHKO move that negates abilities, and has +10 priority.

  • Claps* You did it, kid. Hard work and determination finally paid off.
And writters finally stopped screwing you over

I wonder if this means if he's effectively getting replaced in the incoming series and that's why he won, or it's unrelated.

According to leaks, they are actually moving on from Ash to someone else, back to Gen 1 and so on, likely with another Pikachu

I just learned how Ash beat Hapu and I'm actually MAD!
I don't quite remember Ash's fight with Hapu. What made it bad? I do remember it being repetitive....
Mudsdale is Hapu's second known Pokémon. She uses it to transport Poni radishes by loading them on bags on its side. When confronting Team Skull, she used Mudsdale to battle them and easily won. In A Grand Debut!, Mudsdale was used in Hapu's grand trial against Ash. Despite its strength, Mudsdale was eventually defeated hen Pikachu splashed water on it, simulating the effects of Soak, allowing it to defeat it with Gigavolt Havoc.

I really regret not keeping up with Sun and Moon

This is probably the most monumental thing to happen in the entire anime

Should the Lake Trio have some kind of reality manipulation?
"Known as "The Being of Willpower." It sleeps at the bottom of a lake to keep the world in balance."

~Azelf; Pokémon Diamond

"Three beings were born to bind time and space."
"Two make matter, and three make spirit, shaping the world."
"Those three beings I read to mean the three Pokémon of the lakes. It's about Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf."
"The myth describes how they gave spirit to the world, shaping it."

I see Pokemon is finally acknowledging our Mega Alakazam supereme supergeniuses & overlords for what they are.
