The Boys Season 4 Discussion Thread

yo,don't know if this counts as a spoiler, but
from what i've saw in a news site, apparently, season 5 will have an homelander at the peak of his power(7-C homelander real?????)
I mean, I would assume he is already at his peak? Lol

Ok, so I'm just now realizing this but the random telekinetic supe that faught Starlight at the end of season 4 is the same one that escaped from Sage Grove in season 2. Why is this important? Well Starlight seemingly resisted her telekinetic force which is strong enough to rip and bend steel doors off their hinges. I don't know what exactly it would yield but 90% of the calculations I've seen are done they result somewhere from Class K to Class M.

Hypothetically, what would happen if end of Season 4 Billy took Temp V again? One more use is supposed to kill him, but with the whole weird “Kessler sustaining him” thing I wonder if he can mitigate the downsides of Temp V.

Even if he could use it, would it just give him his old powers or would it react to the tumour in some weird way? I guess this part is impossible to truly answer.

If I'm honest, I just thought that Cindy was fooling around before going for the kill and Annie got out before that. Simply as that. It's shot super weird, but that's my guess.

But that's still a high end lifting strength feat that could possibly apply to Homelander as well.
Calculation request moment? (I know how to make calcs, but I'm no expert nor have much time, it's easier to get it requested)

Speaking of HL and scaling though, Stormfront can fling anything lighter than a 747 (implying that to be her limit). Since HL is obviously stronger than her, and he has a claim of lifting a plane, could this give us sorely 'Class K' Homie?

Hopefully. So far we have the Maeve calculation which would give Class 100 to Maeve tier characters, random telekinetic's metal crushing, and Stormfronts 747 statement. Anything else that comes to mind? Could Homelander digging himself out of a ton of rubble in season two yield anything?

"Maeve tier characters"
Her lifting scales to no one in her tier sadly, she never grappled with anyone other than restraining Noir and Stormfront (both who failed to escape)

What’s the LS needed to rip someone in half? it might be relevant for Billy if Annie doesn’t get an upgrade from the Cindy stuff. Actually I don’t think it matters if Annie gets upgraded, since I think it would only be a trait of her powers.

I really don't think scales at all. At least the scene doesn't seem to imply that.

As for ripping someone in half... I have no idea, but I would assume at least class 25

Speaking of LS isn't the A-Train pulling a whole ass locomotive train way higher than Class 1-5?
It was on rails, but yeah, idk.
Like, I want to say yes, but it being on rails might help a beat, also pulling isn't the same as lifting (I say this in the sense that it wouldn't just be the weight of the train wholly). And I think A-Train on compound V at the time.

Can light speed be used for Starlight's blasts? If so, then this feat (the time's 0:34) of Soldier Boy blocking one of her blasts after she fires one might get good results.
A-Train saw her blasts in slowmo (and while relative to him they were faster, it wasn't by much), and A-Train barely hits Transonic to Supersonic speeds.
So, they are most likely not light speed blasts

Do we have any other way to quantify the speed of the blast then? Maybe using electricity speed or somerhing?
I don't think we can apply any specific number to it, unless we make a calc for it. Even then though, it would only really scale to A-Train (and yeah, SB, but he is already Hypersonic+, so, irrelevant)

Help

Edit: Btw, still needs a summary and a quote, but this is more or less how Sage's profile is going to look like.
Wouldn't being able to come up with a cure to cancer at 11 years old, likely without any advanced equipments, and being able to reverse global warming (ik it's just a claim, but it's pretty obvious it's a valid one given the context of the scene) should make her an Extraordinary Genius? She's also stated to posses "Hypercognition" which is the ability to;
Automatically perform complex mental operations drastically beyond what is naturally possible.

He is taking V? I thought he simply confiscated.

When a supe takes V also it's makes them high.
I mean some of the viles were missing when a train went in there so I'd assume that he's taken them to combat with his aging issues, it makes none born supes high we still dont know what it'd do to homelander.
