Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

And who knows? It might get better. The pilot's plot seemed very self-contained so maybe later storylines will be more palatable. Though I do have 2 questions

1. Stolas's existence implies that the Goetia is a thing, so what does that say about the hierarchical workings of hell?

2. I wonder if that kid will return as a demon considering that he was a piece of shit that died

Given the existance of original Demons, such as Vox, Valentino and Alastor (who is not very close to his demonology self), Stolas' existance is but a cute nod to it, nothing more

The issue is Helluva boss is that the pacing is ... odd. The story starts with a conflict (the company is in trouble! let's find a solution) and goes on a tangent until the group takes it out on a child (no issue here, it was hilarious to watch the child getting hacked apart!), and indulged a lot in flashbacks/cutaway gang

The presentation is also not as garrish and explosive like Hazbin Hotel.

I overall preferred HH, but I think HB has a few things, like a superior voice acting and stronger jokes. It needs though a tighter narrative, in my opinion

So I missed out on this discussion when it first started, but I have a possible change for Alastor's profile.

So he's currently Low 7-C because of the blimp crater, but as I commented on the calc thread itself, "...it seems it was Pentious' ship exploding that caused the crater and the demonic shadow that Alastor summoned was the thing that destroyed it...while we can do the "Durability=AP" connection since Alastor is definitely more powerful than Pent and Pent survived the explosion, I think an "Unknown, at least Low 7-C with summons" tier would be more appropriate..."

Antvasima seemed to agree with me, but I'll leave it up to a discussion to see if it should be changed.

@Sorvoe Seeing as Alastor is one of the most powerful demons in all of Hell it's pretty safe to say he's significantly above rhe no name throwaway demon he summoned to kill Pentious

I am making a profile for Zillion, so i was wondering

I would have to like his page to the Hazbin Hotel Page, right ?

also, is there any extra pieces of lore that Viziepop has given about Zill beside what's shown in the Comic and the character reference sheat ?
