Hazbin Hotel: The Reckoning of Immortality type 5

Agree with removing Type 5 (though Alastor failing to harm Adam is a strange thing to cite as anti-feat)

He did harm him, actually, that’s the point. He growled and went back, choking his chin, being surprised and calling Alastor “tough shit”… this does not sound like something unharmed person would do.
When against Charlie he straight up admits its the first time he actually felt being harmed in years.

Yeah, which in context means
No. “The ****? That hurts!” does not even imply this is the first time — that’s just your silly headcanon. The trident in your stomach would probably hurt, don’t you think?
He was also “chatting” with Charlie previously, hence why he is shocked saying “The ****?”

He is confused about how he was hurt. Which wouldn't make sense if Alastor had already hurt him.
He is not? He says “it hurts!” because it literally does. He does not say “wait, was I hurt? That’s how it feels to be hurt?”, he simply shouts out-loud that he is hurt. Also, there is a difference between being “slapped” and having a giant stab in your stomach.

I suppose that Adam was just so deep in thought in the middle of combat that he started rubbing his chin coincidentally after getting hit in that exact place and forced to stagger back.

It takes a lot of assumptions to say Adam didn't feel that hit, and it should be noted that only Alastor's AP would be scaling to this, not his Striking Strength or Durability.

Adam's a dumbass (for whatever reason) in canon so uh it's possible

Anyways agreed with the thread

If we're using Alastor as an anti-feat the scaling would need to be updated to reflect this. Because according to the current profiles Adam was "completely unharmed" during this fight.

They will be, frankly Hazbin scaling is a mess RN and that Low 7-C feat we're scaling to gored the guy into bits he regenned from. Yeah.

There's a lot of work to do, and fixing Alastor's scaling is just a small part of it.

I'm 90% done doing the CRT, so it will be updated, dw

We saw him surviving it in the very end, and I don't remember him being stated to be blown up to pieces. At best I can see downgrading average Sir Pentious to 8-A+ as he survived it barely. Idk about the others given he is considered "a wimp in physicals".

WoG stated it blew him to bits

So he, with everyone else, would be downgraded to High 8-C for one-shotting hellborn who can contend with Blitz

May be derailing, but wouldn'tt he "blown to pieces" statement possibly upgrade their regen to high-mid over time?

Yes, but that's for that thread. They'd actually have likely Mid-High for being unable to be ashed for lethal damage

Hazbin is an entertaining verse, not very many things are complex enough to matter, but... a contention has always been Immortality type 5 for me.

So I'm gonna rough it up.

To start with, Type 5 just... doesn't have support. At all. The only thing remotely pointing to it is the whole Angelic weapons are needed to kill them thing, and that can just be because they are ridiculously hard to properly kill to the point nobody has been able to do it. There's not even a statement indicating type 5, the fact it's gotten away with all of this for so long is a miracle.

Obviously, same verse same as the first for Angel Immortality and they don't get type 5 either.

And then there's Invulnerability. I'm killing it, so let's go through everything.
  • Razzle and Dazzle are Charlie's guards, heavily implying Lucifer thinks that there are things in Hell capable of actually harming her, while she's a weird case, she still has Invulnerability on her profile, so she's here.
  • Adam gets staggered by Alastor, he should be Senator Armstrong-ing that shit but he's forced to take a couple steps back. It doesn't really hurt him or injure him, but it's still notable
  • Lute has plenty of examples, such as her face being cut through her mask and being otherwise physically damaged by rubble, of everything here, she's definitely the most blatant issue.

But then why would it be repeatedly stated that Angelic Weapons are needed to harm them?

Simple, really. Angels are just more durable than demons. You need to remember that almost everyone on the show is either an Overlord or can trade blows with a power-based one, the general populace are not that strong. Exterminators don't really go after Overlords before the season finale, and the only time they did they ******* DIED. Carmilla has Angelic weapons sure but that doenst change the fact that she's WELL above your average sinner.
