Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest Discussion Thread: Post-Void Saga

Lowkey hope we get to see Elefseria fight or something

All we know is that he barely beat Dog before he even reached DG level and his magic is basically incredible knowledge of things. As things stand now, he's fodder compared to even Human DGs for now.

Taking what we know then and now, he was likely in human form against dragon form Dog.

No he wasn't near their level as stated by Elf, he was weak compared to them before his sleep.

And considering we have nothing else to go by, he's basically unknown for now

Elf still called Him a relative threat in comparison to be considered a Dragon God before he died, that is why there were originally 6.

Yes he's stronger than most regular dragons and weak compared to the other DG. That in itself says he wasn't even near DG level before his sleep plus the fact he only reaches comparable lvls to the DG during his sleep.

This is stated in the manga, idk why your trying to debate this.

He was already at the level to be considered a DG though, just not that strong in comparison, we know that during his death that his magic overflowed from him of a level worthy of a title that he already has, it is common that magic radiates from a body even after death, his true power Is just “creating” a labyrinth, even after waking up his power is not at full strength yet. Even Selene said he is renowned as a god as in his original strength was what made him worthy of it.

No...he was still considered weak to the rest before his sleep he just had the title. It's stated only after his death is when his true power showed and he actually showed power comparable to a DG, suggesting he didn't come close before it as when he was called weak compared to the rest.

It's pretty simple, considering it's what's stated in the manga literally.

His true power being tha it created a labyrinth for unknown purpose, hard to consider it anything impressive when his rotting body can’t contain his magical power, Selene who only knew him before his death stated he was already worthy of the title dragon god. So his original power back then is still his real power.

bro....Elf himself stated his true power finally showed when he died. Meaning before he wasn't actually on that level, as he was stated to be weak compared to the other five. Only reason he has the title is because he was stronger than the rest of the fodder dragons.

We even have statements that Elf's heart got stronger too, everything points that now Dog is fully DG lvl and has gotten stronger from his past self, before he wasn't as he was again stated by Elf weak compared to the other five. Only strong to hold a title because he was stronger than most dragons.

So again back to the original point, Elf has done nothing really note worthy as of now, except an off screen fight against a version of Dog who wasn't only the level of a DG that we are accustomed to.

The true power is that it could “create” a labyrinth and that it could go on even after death, that is basically all that is known about said true power. And that title that even Selene acknowledged which is what she knew of before his death. All we know is that he used the hear to store his life force, and with it gone it would make less sense that he would be stronger still since that would be his “supposed” source of strength, he was already at DG level, just the weakest among them. Elf with his knowledge stated that Dog was a dragon worthy of the title DG despite being the weakest, even Selene stated that if she was not wounded she could take him. It makes sense that he returned to his original power for her to say that as well. Even human Ignia could melt said material that would be from Dog’s dragon form which would show the difference in power even then if one claims that Dog was already at the 5 DG level strength. Your choosing to ignore everything stated and the context behind the statements, just for this argument...not surprised

His true power was creating the labyrinth in which is MP overflowed. No one is denying that, but the implication here is clear as day. His MP overflowed and was releasing DGs lvls of MP, which would mean he was releasing power stronger than before. This is supported by the fact that Elf's heart surpassed himself because of the labyrinth, the labyrinth constantly growing, while "dead", constantly radiating DGs level of power and the fact that Dog now has a system in place for his power which he didn't before. It doesn't take a genius to realize he got stronger after his true power released.

Well of course Selene thinks she can beat a Human Dog, if she was at full power, who you've argued is weakened before....unless your trying to say he's at FP here now. Either way shows your double standards...

There’s no other context, it’s just described to create a labyrinth and to continue radiating magic power, overflow in the context that his rotting body can’t hold his power, even in the context of the spoilers that he had little power then and took time to accumulate power to be reborn, nothing about being better than ever, even if it was something about MP, it is stated to be just in name, not in comparison to the other DG, which he already has the title of. He was already worthy of a DG because he was called one, just weakest. All that was stated was Dog used his heart to contain his life force. No, if she was at normal health that she could take him, as stated. He is stated that despite his original power he is weakened still. Why wouldn’t he be able to? that is a weird thing to say, Natsu could not melt or break Lyon’s ice and Lyon can break it himself with one hand which was stated to be an unstable form anyway, and he is roughly comparable to Gray who is rival to Natsu, It came from him so he would be able to influence it however he wants. Just because he is at human level does not make Suzaku‘s or Natsu’s attacks any stronger, that just shows Dog is at a whole other level stronger. There is no statements that he did got stronger, just that he got revived and that his power is worthy of the title DG which he already had. You may call me a stone wall or whatever you feel, but I have facts carved into the framework of a subjective metaphorical analogy of a non-insulting or agreeing nature to the nicknaming that you project onto me in a way that counters your interpreted belittling of me.

chapter is finally out in English

So Ignia didn't build the Labyrinth but he gave Dog the idea as expected. Also seems like it's part of Ignia's grand plan.

Dog ate Elefseria's dragon heart....so this means that Elefseria had his dragon form when they fought. Dog was also building up his power overtime with Elf's heart, which explains how he got stronger than his past self.

With these translations, I'm more certain that new guy is a Treasure Hunter.

Seems like Selene is impressed with Dogramag’s strength and implies that his real power is his defense, makes sense
 
So it looks like it confirms it that he had hardly any power so it would be to returning to his strength, makes sense. Though it is strange why he said “Dragon Side” heart, Elf said that it is when they dragonize that he developed a spare organ that made him not need a heart, which would likely be when he was on the verge of transforming like Irene.
