Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest Discussion Thread: Post-Void Saga

It must be admitted that the Fairy Tail 100 years quest animation is better than the Fairy Tail final season, and it is shown in episode 6 of Fairy Tail 100 years quest.

Mirajane almost beating Gray in her base SS form after she was already weakened, despite him having a trait advantage over her will forever be iconic
You know I'd be inclined to reignite this discussion and point out how base Gray struggling with a weakened Mirajane and Elfman isn't as pathetic as you or other people are trying to make it out to be, you know, restart the whole arguement about how Gray didn't use his devil slayer form and all that, but at this point in time, I've become so Graysict I will agree with the narrative I know is false just because doing so makes more people aware how pathetic Gray is.

Idegaf about any of his later feats, the one and a half he has, that put him clearly over Mira, I've have become enlightened and will laugh and point at Gray along with everyone else.

I like Gray actually so, there’d be no point in that.

Also there isn’t really much of a discussion to revive, either she beat him while he was in his devil slayer form [a form we’ve seen him use in other fire fights in 100 quest] or he had a bad combat iq moment and almost let himself lose to someone who he could beat far easier if he used his full power, which is an issue Mira herself has like all the time

Uh huh sure yeah as long as we agree it was pathetic lol

Going slightly off topic here but I want to ask if anyone is following Dead Rock, Mashima's new manga.
I started reading it a couple days ago and I find it pretty good, much more engaging than I expected.
The setting is cool and fresh, and even the characters look (almost) nothing like Mashima's past works, as I was already expecting the empteenth Haru/Natsu and Elie/Lucy clones. Most of their personality is interesting, or at least new compared to the past, and some have interesting abilities. The whole setting and characters are much darker, with even good characters falling in-between the morality spectrum on certain sides.
There are constantly new things, from the design and inspiration of the characters to the events. I might be overselling it out of enthusiasm, but I genuinely believe it to be a good read, I suggest everyone to check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Dead Rock's ok, but I need to wait for it to have more than like 16 chapters

Is there any reason bluenote blackhole isn’t scaled to anyone? It has the statements and the verse is large planetary so it wouldn’t be outlandish.

5-A that early makes no sense, and Bluenote's black hole likely isn't a real one anyway

I happened to look over old arcs and since we have anime only related calculations and feats like Erigor's storm clouds and a scene where Wall was actually charging Etherion from the sky, I happen to find an anime scene from the Phantom Lord arc where both Loke and Gajeel dodged Iron Dragon's Club and Regulus Beam at the same time, respectively. Since we know that Regulus Beam is Light Speed, could this mean that Gajeel could have possible light speed reaction since Phantom Lord arc? I have an image link here:

link doesnt work
Ah, I can't seem to know how to put images on this discussion! Let me try this link if it works:

So, this is a thing, I guess. (Mashima gives his ranking of the Spriggan 12 by power).

Yeah believe me, the crew knows

August=Dragon Irene confirmation for idiots who genuinely believed Irene was stronger than August in Dragon Form. Wall being the weakest is surprising tho. This means all Spriggans scale directly to Etherion. Since Hiro basically says all non-Irene and August Spriggans are still RELATIVE and if we consider all of these guys at their peak, the scale would mean this...

Battle Form August=Dragon Irene>>>Larcade~>God Soul Dimaria~>God Serene>~True-Ice Kamui Invel~Third Seal Bloodman~Jacob~Ajeel~Neinhart~Brandish~>Assault Mode Wall

This means End of War Base Natsu's scaling skyrockets in X792 due to one-shotting Enhanced Neinhart

End of War Base Natsu>>>Enhanced Neinhart>>>Brandish>~Assault Mode Wall

This means End of War Base Natsu is above White Shadow Dragon Force Sting, Third Origin Sherria, Enhanced Emotions Gray, Dragon Force Gajeel, Base Laxus (Laxus is weird, because he could have killed Ajeel in one-shot, but then struggled against Wall, but he was critically injured against Wall and his lightning didn't work... So...)

Gray does scale to END Natsu at his peak and so does CHC Erza, meaning that Gray is arguably Top 4 in the Guild during X792. Even if Base Laxus could kill Ajeel in one hit, that isn't better than one-shotting Enhanced Neinhart, who is FAR above Ajeel. Red Lightning Laxus might be on Gray's level, but at this point, the scaling makes the Top 4 of Fairy Tail during Alvarez...

1. Natsu
2. Gildarts
3. Erza
4. Gray

Did Mashima really say they were all relative? Like from what I got from this he basically just said

August = Irene > Larcade = Dimaria = God Serena > Other Six Spriggan > Wall

He’s just saying that Irene and August are the two strongest while Larcade, Dimaria, and God Serena are above the other Spriggans with Wall being the weakest. Like wasn’t Base Natsu who can one shot an enhanced Neinhart getting overpowered by Historia God Serena who is weaker than the original? Pretty sure this scaling just that means the top 3-5 spriggans (Larcade, Dimaria, and God Serena) are much stronger than the other Spriggans below them.

Spriggan Tiers

Top Tier: August, Irene

High Tier: Larcade, God Soul Dimaria, God Serena

Mid Tier: True Ice Kamui Invel, 3rd Seal Bloodman, Jacob, Ajeel, Neinhart, Brandish

Low Tier: Assault Mode Wall

Also this ranking is really giving me Asura’s Wrath vibes with Wall (Wyzen) being the weakest of the group. Like I had thought Neinhart (Kalrow) would be the weakest since they are the ones that didn’t seem that strong physically and relied more on hax/brains.
