If he beats GS (if that is really GS) then is should without a need for power ups.

Lol true God Serena was like what the 4th strongest Spriggan and like among the top 10 strongest antagonists of the original series and yet he gets rekt all the time because of his bad luck making him only face enemies that are way weaker or way stronger than him no in between when he was alive.

So if it's not stated that Serena is above his X792 self (or if it's simply just stated that he's just as strong as he was back in X792), will this boost the likes of:
1. Pre-Elentear Gajeel (depending on how Gajeel wins), since like Laxus he probably didn't get stronger during the time Team Natsu was in Elentear
2. X792 Serena and Gildarts
3. X792 Irene and August

Eh … Gildarts is sorta scaling to base August and Human Irene rn who slaps any of the other Spriggans besides each other. It would just make God Serena stronger than any of the other Spriggans besides Larcade … which he already is.
Pretty sure they both vastly out scale Gajeel and Natsu pre Elentir.

According to the quick summaries I read on Tieba it seems like the alchemist guild saved him when he was on the verge of death. So this is the real God Serena not some Historia copy.

Also he says the Signario sisters and the guild master are much stronger than he is. His 8 elements are a callback to Rave Master's eight 8 elements, except the water element is replaced by stone, which apparently isn't regular stone but is any stone since he used diamond to counter Gajeel's iron.

Shouldn't we wait for the chapter to come out? If he doesn't state that he's as strong as he was 1 year ago, then he should be stronger.

I mean just basing on the feats we see him accomplish this chapter. Is it much higher than his feats from a year ago or is it about what we should expect from him? Haven’t been keeping up with the scaling that much recently so I’m not exactly sure if Serena trashing Gajeel is considered impressive for him.

It didn't feel like he actually become stronger. Also it's funny to see how one guy above stated that 4 HK are fodders when they are still at least as strong if not stronger than current MC base's, and Serena still threatens Gajeel by his feat of trashing all 4 HK. He also remember that there is strong one in Fairy Tail named Gildarts and saying that he is stronger than Gil.
He use "Adamantite Dragon" (most likely his stone element, his his Earth element is Cavern Dragon) which is stronger than Gajeel "Iron" and "Flash Dragon" which is his Light element to counter Gajeel Iron-Shadow DM.

P.S. I have a feeling that Alchemist Guild is connected with last Gold Dragon God. In RAVE gold alchemist was also strongest among alchemist.

Gray's most likely going to get a power up next arc since Alchemy works very similarly to his magic + he needs to get better at maker magic because he was surprised at Skullion making a boat.
