Again, it does not matter if it in production since 2018 or 2019 they can simply hold on it for now if they planning on new movie before anything.

No shit. We all know DBS makes too much money for it to be canceld for good, but it is fact that they put the project on hold for over a year now.

True. From the way they spoke, it seems they are still in really early stage of planning for the movie and it can be something for 2020-2021 and the anime can come back this year.

It does matter if they have sevaral months ahead of production. That was the problem with Super to begin with. after they finished Resurection F in 2015 they started working on Super and most of the good animators went to work on OP Movie which is why they out source episode 5 of Super. The production was far behind and they were playing catch-up. The episodes were not well written.

They don't have to hold it since they have staff on the Dragon Ball Room. They still can work on story board, character desings, etc..

Again. Not on its entirely.

Yes. It was a meet up between Akira and Akio Iyoku. Talking about the future of dragon ball.

It's not official announcement, It just seems they are open for the idea and want to do another movie but nothing official yet.

Feels like the sequel should take place after Moro arc or after the next arc. By that point, Frieza would have been gone long enough to warrant bringing him back (due to him having a background plot of destroying the gods or whatever).

While an original character would be cool, I'd be interested in Cooler being adapted.

A movie is the perfect place to bump DB up to 2-C or even 2-B IMO. Some sort of multiversal threat that requires for Universe 6, 7 and 11 to all team up. Goku, Hit and Jiren working together against the new threat, Frieza and Frost. Maybe have the person that slaughtered Jiren's friends and family as the antagonist?

If they toss in timeline shenanigans into the mix, it'd be easy to go into 2-B territory.

I would love Dragonball to FINALLY raise of tier, but every freaking time, we go in relatively low scale movies.

Even Goku VS Beerus in the movie wasn't exactly groundbreaking. Remember how Beerus was 4B? LOL

Yeah, it's shameful that we needed the DBS anime to finally get 3-A Dragon Ball. Beerus was the perfect chance to do it in Z but nope.

The Tournament of Power was pretty bad with it too. Despite all of Jiren's absurd power, it couldn't be bumped past the tier that Zamasu is in, Low 2-C. Despite the entire arc being about multiversal destruction and survival...

the Broly movie could have been 2-C or higher but the dimension shatter feat is so vague that it's pointless.

Moro isn't even remotely approaching the levels needed to bump up DBS.

Exactly. DBH is the only thing of Dragonball that gives us 'big scale conflicts', with characters going across multiple universes and fighting beings who want to over throw Zen'O..

But otherwise? it's alays small potatoes, with guys wanting to beat up Goku or... eat ONE planet

You watch too much DBH. Othe universe are irrelevant when 70% of DBS takes place in universe 7.

And did you seriously toss up all this plot points just to get an excuse for 2-B?

Imagine caring more about tiering than storyline. Typical Dragon Ball.
Well there's not much to get excited about where it just goku and Vegeta running the show fighting whatever guy come there way

This isn't a Dragon Ball specific thing, you can find people that care about tiering in every fanbase.

Don't even get me started.

Really? Who would care about the tiers of some fans wiki over an actual story?

I want a grey character in 2uper. Like someone who does all the bad things for the right reasons. This black and white stuff has become too repetitive.

Since next villain will apparently be weaker than Broly but more unique, any abilities you guys want to see specifically?

I want to see more variations in space time manip. Hit's skillset is really cool and Goku Black had that whole dimension thing so more fresh takes on something that qualifies as space time manip would be nice.

So i have a question for everyone....if GT Goku never turned into a child, how strong would he had been?

Also how strong do u guys think 100 Year Goku is?

The peak of his power wouldn't have been any different, as SSJ4 turns him back to his adult self.

And absolutely, utterly no clue. There's not even a true indication or him for WHAT Goku is after 100 years.

He simply... is.

Let's see. He seems to be in a ghost-like state. And he's still capable of fighting. He's a punching ghost.

He's STAR PLATINUM.

I don't see Toei being remotely capable of creating a villain that doesn't rely on brute power nor make him a threat to the heroes.
