Does this type of powerscaling seem okay?

I am calculating how powerful SSJ3 Goku's Super Kamehameha and it used power scaling, does this process sound faulty?

First of all in the Manga, Gohan never struggled as much with Cell's Super Kamehameha and was roughly equal to it

SSJ2 Gohan's Super Kamehameha = Cell's Super Kamehameha

Now when he was doing this half of Gohan's chi was gone

The siginificance of that is you need to focus all of your Chi to make a Kamehameha

Since he had only 1/2 of his Chi, he would only be able to focus 50% of his power. Which means it is 1/2 as powerful as usual.

50% Gohan's Super Kamehameha = Cell's Super Kamehameha

100% Gohan's Super Kamehameha is 2x stronger than Cell's Super Kamehameha

Now SSJ2 Goku > 100% Gohan

That means SSJ2 Goku's Super Kamehameha is >2x stronger than Cell's Super Kamehameha, and SSJ3 Goku's Super Kamehameha is >8x stronger than Cell's Super Kamehameha

If this type of powerscaling was allowed SSJ3 Goku would be large star level

SA website is blocked from where I am at

What I got above, does the comparison seem reasonable?

Okay, then here is the calc

First off in the Cell Saga, Super Saiya-Jin 2 Gohan was curbstomping Cell in every way, it was an utter stomp. Gohan got cocky which made Goku sacrificed himself to "kill" Cell. Cell survived and had a mega-zenkai to become Super Perfect Cell. Gohan protected Vegeta from one of Cell's blasts and broke his left arm. Cell then started to charge up a Super Kamehameha.

Cell's Super Kamehameha has the power to destroy the Sun, the energy needed to destroy the Sun is 54.5366885 Septillion Megatons of TNT.

Gohan lost half of his Chi when he got his arm injured, this would affect the power of his Super Kamehameha

the Kamehameha is focusing all of your Chi into one point

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-j_Ja8YBu7vA/UsAfeEgsnwI/AAAAAAAABC0/0IizOeOE4yQ/w456-h685-no/009.jpg

Since he had only › of his Chi, it would be › as powerful. In the Manga, Gohan's Super Kamehameha was equal to Cell's

› Gohan's Super Kamehameha = 100% Super Perfect Cell's Super Kamehameha

› SSJ2 Gohan's Super Kamehameha = 54.5366885 Septillion Megatons of TNT

If he did not injure his arm, he would have been able to focus all of his Chi and been at 100%, meaning it would be twice as power

100% SSJ2 Gohan's Super Kamehameha = 109.073377 Septillion Megatons of TNT

Now Goku was stated to be stronger than Gohan at full power

http://a.mhcdn.net/store/manga/214/31-458.0/compressed/u080.jpg?v=1394327926

SSJ2 Goku > 100% SSJ2 Goha

So SSJ2 Goku's Super Kamehameha >= 109.073377 Septillion Megatons of TNT

This is his SSJ2 form, his SSJ3 form is a 4x boost of SSJ2 (400x)

http://www.kanzentai.com/guide/bp/seg-ssj2.png

So his Super Kamehameha = 436.293508 Septillion Megatons of TNT, this is large star level.

Rigel A (A blue supergiant) is the benchmark for large star level, to find how much energy is needed to destroy it, I will have to use this formula

(0.6*gravity*mass)*radius

Here are the stats for Rigel

Gravity: 0.56234132 meters/second squared

Mass: 5.17711e31 kilograms

Radius: 54,874,950 kilometers

Its GBE = 229.097896 Septillion Megatons of TNT.

And SSJ3 Goku's Super Kamehameha is almost 2x the GBE of Rigel

I'm unsure about the GBE you got for Rigel but I do agree that the amount you got for SSJ3 Goku is Large Star level.

That means SSJ2 Goku's Super Kamehameha is >2x stronger than Cell's Super Kamehameha, and SSJ3 Goku's Super Kamehameha is >8x stronger than Cell's Super Kamehameha

That part seems wrong, we know for a fact SSJ2 Goku or Vegeta were both stronger than Gohan as a teen, but we dont know how much is the difference, could be only 10% or 10x, also then you applied the 4x SSJ2 for SSJ3 multiplier while desconsidering all his training, possible zenkai boosts and experienced aquired in the timeskip, that calc could be hugely flawed, be careful

If we include that the number would be even larger, we do not know the gap though so it is a lowball

Vegeta stated Goku > 100% Gohan though
