Death Battle Season Seven Discussion Thread (19) (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

From what I've seen, while a close fight, it's basically unanimous that X wins. Just going off of the VS Battle Wiki X is either tied or superior to Samus in stats. The only thing Samus could have is Hyper Mode from Prime 3 which gives her a huge damage and defense boost while X has more tools in his favor. Samus can heal herself with Concentration and the Crystal Flash but she has to be on death's door to use both of them and X can use his sub tanks whenever he wants, assuming her has them filled before the fight starts.

Another fight I've seen for X is KOS-MOS but I think she's noticably stronger than X is. I'd Say Samus vs X is a more popular match up as well.

I wonder for the salt if KOS-MOS beats X.
Probably bad since KOS-MOS is an who.

I do want to say that

1. Mega Man X vs Samus Aran is a way more popular matchup than Mega Man X vs KOS-MOS
2. KOS-MOS has Noel Vermillion (Yoshi@DBW will not spamming Noel Vermillion vs Aigis but we have already had DBX and there is no one arguing reasons Aigis should even win since Persona non protagonist characters are not perceived universe+ tier)
(We used to have a KOS-MOS profile and she seems to be comparable to Shulk tier.)

And feed X to the DC slaughterhouse? Rather not...

3. Mega Man Star Force vs Blue Beetle is there despite Blue Beetle still wins.
4. Will Cyborg be fighting anyone other than Android 17 like what are the connections between Cyborg and Android 17? (Like Cyborg vs Alita, Chise or even Noel Vermillion is more thematic in this regard)

I mean according to the wider cosmology of Xenosaga/gears/blade, KOS-MOS can possibly scale up to 7D while Noel scales to 5D, say yes KOS-MOS could beat Noel.


That said, outside highly dedicated Vs communities I doubt most would buy or even know about the HD lore/feats for both characters.

Rayquaza should face Mothra, because thematically it makes the most sense.

Ridley should fight Vilgax, because more Ben 10. Either that or Ghidorah.

King Ghidorah vs Fin Fang Foom, because space dragons. Plus, King Ghidorah is too big to fight Ridley. I don't care if this is Godzilla franchises first lost, it just makes sense as a fight.
