Copen would be a pretty good matchup for him, since they wear read, have white hair and copy the abilities of their enemies. The iX version of Copen specifically fits the whole "Being a future version of a character" thing.

Both also got their ideals from their respective fathers (Emiya's will to be a hero and Copen's hatred of Adepts), but eventually threw that away.

Two Metroid characters in the same season? That's automatically suspicious. PLEASE don't actually make a Samus vs Master Chief, the DMX is all you need to see for that. I'd rather see Samus go up against Megaman X, Sho Fukamachi (Guyver) being a good substitute. What's the chance we ever see a Guyver character Death Battle? I'd love to see Link vs Cloud 2 though.

I think it's weird that they go for realistic punching sounds (which sounds like wet slaps) as if this was The Last of Us, instead of using the anime punching sound effects. The audio SFX needs to fit the battle as well.

I hate when some fights on DB do that, they'd be surprised how satisfying and juicy sound effects impact animation.

Does Sephiroth scale to the speed of his Supernova? It's listed as a speed feat, but I'm not sure if anyone has ever actually reacted to it.

Also if there's any FFVII Remake spoilers, just nevermind this question. I've manage to avoid all spoilers up to this point.

It's basically the sound effects that you'd hear from in an old school kung fu flick which I think is a really cool way of tying it in the fight.

Yeah but it's a lot more muted. There needs to be more oomph to it. It sounds less like the crack of a whip and more like getting hit with the fan from Super Smash Bros.

i really want to hear what what reasons why they pick Hulk to fight Broly beyond the whole "it was requested" because Ultron vs Sigmawasn't sure as hell that requested compared to Ultron vs Brainiac which was far more popular and wanted and only became a thing due to MvCI

Agreed. They'll progbably put X up against Blue Beetle though just because. I remember hearing at a Q&A someone asked about returning fighters and Ben used Samus vs Megaman as a direct example I think. I have no idea where I saw that though, so.

From what I recall X vs Samus is a pretty close fight as well. If Death Battle uses composite X and Samus it will be quite the clusterfuck.

From what I've seen, while a close fight, it's basically unanimous that X wins. Just going off of the VS Battle Wiki X is either tied or superior to Samus in stats. The only thing Samus could have is Hyper Mode from Prime 3 which gives her a huge damage and defense boost while X has more tools in his favor. Samus can heal herself with Concentration and the Crystal Flash but she has to be on death's door to use both of them and X can use his sub tanks whenever he wants, assuming her has them filled before the fight starts.

Another fight I've seen for X is KOS-MOS but I think she's noticably stronger than X is. I'd Say Samus vs X is a more popular match up as well.
